Up waaay too early this morning, not sure why.
Sam, DMIL's accident sounds awful. Hope she gets through this alright. She must've been in horrible pain.
Lee, enjoy Scotland.
Bill, hope you have a better pain day today.
Dave, good luck with the arbor vitae stumping!
Swim-paddle with DS went well yesterday, although he only went 1/2 mile. First time out this year. He's sticking with WW and has lost 10 lbs since his transplant doctor told him 3 times he needed to lose weight. We talked afterwards with a ranger at the beach, who regaled us a half-hour with a Maine camping story about a bear that came in the night and chased him out of his hammock and into the lake. Turned out it was same remote lake where I always camp...
Rainy morning here. Not sure what I'm doing today.
Have a good one.0 -
Good morning!
Sam, prayers for your DMIL.
Mike, I'm glad that you are getting your mask more under control. I too have been doing a little better with mine the last couple of nights.
We have been getting storms almost every night for a week now. We need to turn off the rain so that I can at least mow the yard.
Lee, I hope that you are able to enjoy Scotland pain free. Sounds like a wonderful trip!
Bill, holding you in prayer for pain management.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Lee is having a great time, I know.
Got word from my sister, yesterday, that my mom (age 98) has Covid. Fortunately, her symptoms have been very mild: a runny nose and feeling tired. Praying that is the extent of it. She is pretty frail.
I dug out the two stumps, yesterday and mowed the lawn. Fingers really ached afterwards. Right hand is still pretty bad. Every time I grab something and pull - as in pulling roots and dragging stumps out of the ground - this is the price I pay.0 -
Good Morning
Sam, DMIL's accident sounds pretty bad. A fractured pelvis at any age is a challenge.
Enjoy that whiskey tour in Edinburgh, Lee. We enjoyed the touring the Castle, the Royal Mile etc.
The back seems to be recovering. I will take a walk and do some stretching this morning. I have plenty to do around the house today. Firing up the crock pot this morning for some Italian Beef Sandwiches for dinner. Dave, my prayers for a quick recovery from your stump-pulling, etc.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Whenever I need to pull a stomp I use straps or chains and 4 WD or tractor, I'll admit I'm too lazy to manually dig stomps. Keeping mom in prayer Dave.
Bill, glad back seems to be a little better
Mike, took DW close to a year to get CPAC set back up properly after Phillips stopped her from using first CPAC. Still cannot filters, and correct mask, keep being told on national backorder. I/2 mile is good start for DS; what is water temp?
Steve, enjoy rain, later in summer you are going to be begging for rain
DMIL can't start therapy till signed off by orthopedic and our small hospital does not have one; surrounding hospitals will not take her, they did get her up in chair today. Welcome to COVID and Medicare rules.0 -
Keeping Dave's mom also in prayer. 98--God bless her!0
