Mornin' BBB
Edinburgh is cold and damp. We will not see the sun while we are here. Coming home on Sunday.
Cool story about meeting Lady Bird Johnson. She is a favorite daughter of Austin.
Sorry the infusions don't seem to be helping Mary.
Hope Toad hits the road today.
How was Top Gun?

Good morning
Continue to have fun Lee!
Hope that Dave’s mom and Sam’s mil are doing better?!
Steph, Arizona has to be miserably hot in July.
Mary, at least the dry eyes are improving. Hoping that since you’re only 1/2 way thru they will continue to improve.
Yes, designer. I didn’t want to spend $1000 on paint and then not like it. Everything is so expensive. Wanted to paint last night but got rained out.
Is this the last of lisa’s kids to get married?
Where are you going Lou?
Later taters0 -
Good morning
Hope Daves mom and Sams dmil get well soon.
Yes Kelly, Lisa's youngest and last of the 3 girls to marry.
I'm optimistic since there are 4 infusion treatments to go. There won't be more. 8 is it for the drug therapy for everyone.
I'm lunching today with my sil at a great euthenic Greek place. Maybe get some wedding planning going. Shes got ideas....
I landed a $275,000 purchase order late yesterday that has $150k in profit to it. And 50% down payment Ha. Bean counter should satisfied.
Got 3inches of cold rain in last couple days. Supposed to dry and warm to mid 70s today. I have dahlias for ds2 to plant in his yard so hope so.
I'm hoping to see the Downton Abby movie soon.
Safe travels Dennis
Mesa should be nice Steph, thats a long sit!0 -
Lee, we saw Top Gun the first weekand were very entertained! I thought the underplot could have been better developed, but the action part/plot was PHENOMENAL. And because of the music and the sounds of the planes and the sweeping videography, I'm really glad we saw it on the big screen.
Kelly, it is. And we LOVE her df! He's effortlessly become an intregal part of our family now for years. Unfortunately, as he's become closer with us, he's become more estranged from his own. They don't like that they've been living together, and have shut him (and her) out. It's really sad. They're really missing out on a couple great human beings. I'll be watching for pics of the newly painted house!
That is quite a budget, Skip!
Lou is such a jet-setter!
Cool story, Dave! And I'm saying a prayer for your mom right now ... hopefully it stays mild.
Mary, I learned recently that dry eye is the single biggest eye problem in the world. I have it periodically, too.
Sam, I'm glad to hear your DMIL is improving.
Go save the world, Dennis! You rock.
I have my last workshop of the week in just a bit, then I'll spend the weekend crossing my T's and dotting my i's for the wedding. I'm staying organized and prepared, but there's always a lot in the last few days beforehand. 2 of my best friends and their husbands come into town on Thursday ... for those who know them, that's Marci (NC) and Randi (OH). The 4 of them are the masters and mistresses of ceremony. I am so excited to see them!

G'Morning~
Lee sorry the weather is so drab....hoping you are enjoying just the same. Cannot imagine how terribly the pups miss you!
House painting sounds like a REALLY big job! Post some pics! Hope you and Gary have plenty of cold suds while painting!
LadyBird story was cool.....
Hope DMIL is improving and not putting the orderlies through too much BS.
Haven't seen a great photo of #Sassy lately! Hows she doing? Isn't her birthday coming up soon?
We will go see Top Gun later this month - the next week or so is crazy busy.
Sunny and 80 today.
Cheers BBB!!

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Yep, Top Gun was a fun movie. Even DW like it.
- Got most of my packing and preparation done yesterday. Finish it up today. Next week looks like a scorcher here. Mid to high 90s.
- Congrats on the big contract Mary.
- Have fun this weekend Lisa.
- T&Ps for the ailing Moms.

Good morning BBB friends.
Spoke with my mom yesterday. She said she was feeling fine. Her only symptoms were a runny nose and fatigue, and those had cleared up. Now she is impatiently waiting through her quarantine period. Thanks for the prayers.
As a native of the Pacific Northwest, I can tell you that a little rain shouldn't keep you from doing anything. Have fun, Lee.0 -
Glad to hear your mom is doing okay, SGM!
Mary - CONGRATS on the big score for your company!0 -
Morning BBB
Glad to hear your mom has mild symptoms. Continued prayers.
Mesa will be hot but desert heat is so so much different from humidity heat. We will hike or bike ride early and cool off in the pool with naps in the afternoon. The dog died this year so we only have to watch the house ( except for a long weekend where we will watch the homeowners sisters dog at her equally nice house up the street)
Last day in California. Headed to a quaint town for “shopping” and a short hike we shipped last week because a tour bus had just shown up at the trailhead.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Emmaus breakfast this morning,
Then road TOAD several towns over for a haircut,
Went by to see DMIL who has been giving nurses and physical therapists fits, she must be doing better; as for whether she comes back here or goes to assisted living I'm staying out of it and leaving to DW and her sister. My only input is she is not going to live on main floor with us.
Dennis hope all goes GREAT, and boys appreciate effort you are giving them.
Lisa, my in-laws were much easier to get along with than my parents; there's a thing about mothers and their sons, my mother never accepted any of her daughters-in-law and my older brother gave her five while she was living.
Agree Kelly could not believe paint was up 200% in cost when I went by there earlier this week, going to have to decide whether to go ahead or hope prices drop. Lumber prices are down 30% but still double 2020 prices. We will not mention gas prices or electric prices.
If a persons electric bill doubles when they purchase an all electric vehicle, are they saving money? and if electricity is generated using either coal or natural gas is it improving the air quality?
Congrats on order Mary!!!
Continues HOT and HUMID here0
