    Good morning!

Safe travels, Lee! I am glad that you had such an awesome trip.

We are expecting very hot and humid conditions. For a variety of reasons I didn't get the yard mowed yesterday. It is supposed to get to 97 today with heat indexes approaching 110. Lovely.

I weighed in at 194 this morning. I'm down 6 pounds and 5 weeks in a row with a loss. Woot!

Sam, don't be too discouraged with the fund raiser. They are just hard to do. The next one will go better.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin'

So busy yesterday I missed checking in... DGS soccer game, then visited to see their house renovations--new deck, kitchen makeover, new bathroom, an old guy was putting up siding, said he "did aluminum in the 50's". Had to be 90 years old. Then some errands, and then book club in the evening.

    Nice sunny day forecast today.

Steve, keep your 110º heat, don't send here...

    Good morning gentlemen.

Safe - and aggravation free - travels, Lee.

Great job on the loss, Steve.

Today in Philippine Independence Day, and coincidentally, our anniversary. Rita has put up with me for 35 years. Don't have any plans. I need to mow the lawn. Maybe we'll go out for dinner.

Good Morning! We got so focused on getting out the door early yesterday that I neglected to check in. We left on our 40th anniversary trip down the coast taking 7 hours instead of 3 1/2 with a last-minute shift to cut through the Monterey Peninsula and down the coast thru Big Sur to get to Cambria. We often stopped to stretch and took a few walks, racking up almost 12K steps. Lots of memories of the many drives and trips here. Yesterday was a pretty darn perfect day, even with our physical issues at present. We are staying on Moonstone Beach so we ended it by walking across the street and sitting on a bench together by the beach watching the sun slide down into the horizon. We celebrate the big day today with a little wine tasting, an attempt at a hike Heather read about, some beach walks, and who knows what else today. Heather claims she is going into the ocean. I grew up on the Atlantic Ocean which was warm and friendly. The Pacific is pure cryotherapy.
