Misty moisty start to the day. Calling for 81 this afternoon and then cooling off a bit for the weekend.
Steve, been doing a bit of research on oral supplements that boost testosterone in spayed and neutered dogs and found some interesting studies about DHEA. So I would ask Frankie's nutritionist about DHEA...its a hormone that is produced by the adrenal gland and often declines in spayed middle aged and older dogs. From what I was reading, it often helps spayed obese dogs that test thyroid normal to lose weight. No prescription needed. 50mg twice daily for a month, then once daily for up to 6 months. lfsyo7ljg08f.png

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

We are on Sassy's last bag of puppy food. Her weight seems stable on that. Will keep an eye on her when we shift to the adult formula.

Spent the day, yesterday, installing two LED light fixtures in the garage, replacing the 20-year-old fluorescent ones that were failing. The garage has a 12-foot ceiling, so I first had to construct a scaffold to stand on, then work over my head to remove the old and install the new. Unaccustomed activity for the old guy. When I was finally done, I was as tired as if I had gone on a hike. Shockingly bright out in the garage, though.

Have to go pick up a new prescription for Rita, this morning. Then it's back in the garage to use my scaffolding to repair a place on the ceiling where drywall tape pulled loose. It's been there for more than 10 years. Not my favorite kind of job.

    Good Morning,
Trying to everything done around here before leaving Sunday for week in Florida. DMIL will be released Thursday, either DSIL will take her to our house or her house. Tomorrow install handrail on other side of stairs so DMIL can hold on to each side. Told them to take her downstairs where she will only have one step at door. We can carry her meals down too her till she is able to get up stairs. Physical therapist will work with her till she can maneuver steps.
DSIL that passed, service this afternoon about 2 hours away
Still very hot here, at least Florida is about 10 degrees cooler

    Good Morning

I got a bit carried away yesterday doing some cardio. I walked much faster and longer. I was a zombie by 3 pms. I should have stretched right after because I tightened up quite a bit. It wasn't a fun time on the mat. I know better. I had to rest and pass on making kebobs for dinner. We brought in some sandwiches for the Warriors Championship game. I will be a bit more restrained today and do a couple of easier shorter walks and get a good stretch session in. Still feeling pretty good and am glad to be moving forward. But it only takes a moment's carelessness to do some damage. I have to be up early tomorrow to take Heather to the airport for a 5:20 am flight so it will be an early night
