Skipping Bible study and going for a hike while it's cool and dry this morning. Doing a little more work on the canoe while I wait for furniture delivery, and then some errands.

Haven't been tracking, but trying to avoid snacking between, as well as sweets, while meals include more veges and whole grains. If I snack it is fruit mostly. And getting out every day for a walk, hike, paddle or whatever. My general goals, at least. If that doesn't pare down the weight then I'll look into WW or Noom or Lite-Weigh or something.

Lee, hope your med juggling gets sorted out.

    Mornin' BBB.

Steve, I have been recommended by a couple of friends to go see a urologist and get evaluated for low testosterone for my fatigue symptoms. I asked my Rheum Doc's PA about it and she was noncommittal. I guess a endocrinologist can evaluate as well, but the D*** Doc checks the plumbing as well. Now we have discussed everything.
I have found apples are very satiating. Recently bought a bag to make some applesauce for some pork chops and started just having an apple for lunch +/- yogurt. Seems to do a better job than the oatmeal for breakfast at limiting my snacking at night.
Did not fish the other day, just making sure boat is running right. Tomorrow night heading out after work for night fishing in the salt. Striped bass have showed up this year.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good morning!

Lee, please keep me posted on whether the urologist finds anything or not. Best wishes with your fishing!

I have not been fishing since before the heat set in. I am going to get out over the holiday weekend.

I have been so tired that I have fallen behind on several projects at home. I have just been pushing through the fatigue to get some of these things done.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

Lee, there is no greater joy than adding another doctor to the mix. I hope he/she is able to answer your questions.

The A/C issue was quickly diagnosed. Unfortunately, the main blower assembly burned out. A whopping $2300 to repair with a 2 week wait to get the new blower assembly from Carrier. At least the temps are dropping into the 80's for the next 10 days or so. I will move back upstairs for sleeping now that it is cooling off a bit, though it will be warm up there. It should be a nice electric bill this time with no A/C or oven use. Grilled a tri tip last night which was rather wonderful.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Snacking is my downfall - or having snack in the house is. I ate a Hershey bar before I went up to bed, last night. Stupid. Couldn't do stupid if the Hershey bar wasn't in the pantry. It starts as I walk through the store, really. I vow to do better,

Rita, Sassy and I had fun, yesterday, adjusting sprinklers. Rita has a number of the large sprinkler heads on risers, so they spray over shrubs and plantings. She removes the sprinkler heads for the winter, so they aren't damaged by freezing. Every summer, those heads need to be readjusted so they spray over the proper arc. That involves spending a lot of time getting soaked. Sassy was a new addition to the fun, this year: barking, jumping, biting at the spray, running back and forth. She had a blast, and so did we.

Our 90-degree heat is gone, now. It will be 25 degrees cooler, today.

I plan to drive down to Oregon, Thursday, to see my sister and brother. My mom is 98 and frail, and my sister wants to discuss the best ways to start allocating her estate to minimize the tax bite. It makes sense, I guess, but I really dread this sort of thing.

Don't know where my post from this morning went.
Dave, fully understand not wanting to address estate; better to do now while DM can put in her wishes, took me over three years to settle parents estate without help from DB's except for holding out hand for monies,
I love apples as breakfast especially days I have morning yoga class
DMIL is back in house therefore DW is already ill
