  • Sorry I missed weigh in last week! I had gotten sick and was in bed for a while. Feeling mostly better now.

    Kinda exciting to be so close to a 20 lb loss! Doesn't seem like much on my body, but 20 lbs is a lot!

    Happy Friday night all.
    Check in:
    Steps - 5938 plus 10 minutes bike, moderate intensity.
    Calories - 1776. Good number and great year.
    Exercise - pickleball for 30 minutes, gym tonight. 10 machines and 10 minutes bike. I am burning my legs on the weights so my bike is lacking.

    @lindamtuck2018 welcome home. Sorry about the sickness. I hope you all recover quickly.

    happy friday everyone! the weekend is here! hurray! my daughter says hi to all! i got in my walk before it got too hot here. i also got in my strength training workout in this morning. it is a very warm and sunny day here today. there is a heat warning in place for today until sunday. we are all keeping cool and well hydrated. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i will definitely be doing some dancing in the evening, when it is cooler here. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.

    Stay cool again today. We are not getting any relief from the heat overnight.

    You are doing welll with maintenance. Pickle ball sounds like fun. I don’t ever remember hearing much about it until the last few years. Have you ever tried biking first then weights?

    You're welcome and thank you ... I have decided to hold off on my walking until Sept... I am terrified of falling again so I will use my pool until then

    I’ve been out of commission for a while — I traveled… and then got Covid. Pretty bummed because my brother was supposed to be visiting me from Germany but had to cancel because of me getting covid.

    Anyway, I am slowly getting better. Still pretty bad cough and fatigue but thankfully no more fever or headache.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 I’d like to be excused from step challenge until the start of august challenge. Hopefully I’ll feel up to moving by then!

    Good evening everyone. I hope your nights are cool.
    Check in for 7/23:
    Steps - 4594. Just a little shopping today. Starting my restrictive eating for my camera insertions Wednesday.
    Calories 2200 or close. Am trying to keep calories up despite limits. Tuesday is clear liquids only.
    Exercise - none. Walk/gym tomorrow.

    Please add me back to the step challenge. I am going to set my step goal to 4,000 until I get back in the pool. I need something to push me to get up and move around more until then.
