    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.


    CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 187.8
    CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM June 30th): 202.8

    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    201.6-(Trend Weight: 201.4)-I have been diagnosed with triple blockages in my heart and will be having emergency stenting tomorrow (Monday). If all goes well, I will just be gone overnight. I’ll be spending the day setting up my first of the month bills, cleaning up the house a bit and packing. I hate things hanging over my head so I’m glad this is happening quickly. I will try to keep up with the posts and will keep you updated as I can.

    08/03-201.6-(Trend Weight: 201.4)- Surgery went well. Healing properly. Glucose way up for absolutely no reason. Maybe normal in the healing process? No exertion allowed so calorie burning is at base level but logging and following diet good.

    Rather surprised yet not surprised. I have been tracking several things lately.... data points really, and It's keeping me on track with my food intake...or as it would be... my lack of overindulging!. I'm tracking daily:

    1. Planned food for the day
    2. Tracked all food eaten
    3. Rate on track AM
    4. Rate on track PM
    5. Rate On track Evening.

    I have goals for each one....For example...On track evening I want to have the percentage be 73%. On track Morning I want to be at 85% or higher. This data is helping because, I know that I will have a few off-plan snacks, but that doesn't mean that it has to be an OFF plan DAY!

    I started running on 8/1 and clearly my increased appetite is counteracting my weight loss efforts. I'm going to try to keep at my suggested MFP calorie goal 5 of the next 7 days to try to kick my plateau. I hope everyone has a great week.
