    Check-in for rwillems

    Check-in Day: Sunday
    PW: 278.8 lbs
    CW: 273.4 lbs

    This weeks steps:
    Sunday: 3,049
    Monday: 12,526
    Tuesday: 10,071
    Wednesday: 10,552
    Thursday: 4,265
    Friday: 1,378
    Saturday: 356

I am sorry to say that I am sick my friends. After receiving my flu vaccination on Monday, I can down with a severe case of the flu Thursday evening. I have been sick since then, unable to eat anything and keep it down. Fever, chills, cold sweats, everything flu has to offer. Too weak to sit up let alone walk. So, don’t expect much from me this week. We will see how things go next.

Awesome loss but being sick is not the way you want to lose it. I hope you feel better soon.

Made it through Thanksgiving Dinner unscathed. Just had some white meat turkey, a little bit of mashed potatoes and some pasta. No dessert or party potatoes. Sigh lol.

You have great willpower. I have been dreaming about the pumpkin cheesecake we are having for dessert today ever since I ordered it.

    2: Run x4 :'( only got 3 in
    3: Strength x3 :)
4: Close all my circles on my apple watch :'( missed one day

Overall, a good week. This is week 2 of me being back to MFP and tracking which usually has a slip up and a quit. Not this week, not this time.

I slipped up on Friday, just over 2,000 calories consumed :( but I was very good yesterday for Canadian Thanksgiving.

What I did Good! Meal plan and prep and sticking to it. (except friday)

What needs work! Working out on workdays. I work 7am-7pm and its dark when I leave and when I get home. I hate running in the dark by myself. This week I will try power walks on my lunch/dinner breaks and finding good cardio videos online.

Hey, @Megan_smartiepants1970 ans @lindamtuck2018 : can I change my posting dates to Mondays? For some reason I can’t get it together Sunday nights to actually make a post. I’m so sorry! I do want to be in this group.

    PW: I can’t remember
    CW: 170

    Steps:
    10/2: 1,634
    10/3: 5,307
    10/4: 5,363
    10/5: 6,077
    10/6: 2,616
    10/7: 3,913
    10/8: 4,951
    10/9: 1,840
    10/10: 5,280

I have been so stressed out lately: my diet and exercise have definitely continued to take a hit.
Having said that - I have had a little bit of good news. I’ve been able to work my way into a part-time job doing what I used to love and have missed terribly. I used to work at a vet clinic with the plan of going to vet school. Long story short: I realized I don’t want to be a vet, I like the hands-on work of the tech. I switched plans and went into teaching - where I’ve been the last 10 years. Over the years I’ve kept in touch with an awesome coworker from my clinic days, and asked her if I could come work at her clinic a couple days a month (she and her vet-husband own their own clinic now!) She said yes! I am SO excited!! I’ve missed that world so much! The scheduling is perfect because it will only be 2 Saturdays a month, and they’re only open 8-2: so it won’t even be my whole Saturday! Plus it’ll be extra money coming in, in the field I’ve missed with an awesome coworker!!
Hopefully this major boost in every aspect will also help with some weight loss. I will be moving around more, and it’ll alleviate some stress which hopefully will impact my diet, etc.

Anyway… again, many apologies for not posting. It is not intentional, and I certainly do not want to be removed!

    Have a good week everyone.
