Hi, I'm Lis. Started this journey in August 2021, have lost 83.8lb so far.
Not sure what my end goal weight will be, so taking it 7lb at a time.

Good job everyone!
Although it doesnโt look that I have lost any weight in the mirror but I am happy with the results so far (4.6 pounds loss so far this month) .. slow but consistent .. hoping to see the results after a couple of weeks ..
Just wanted to share something .. I have always been within my healthy weight .. In the last five years I have gained a lot of weight .. some friends and relatives seem to focus just on my weight whenever we meet and make comments about it .. they probably donโt know how I feel and how sensitive I am about the whole weight thing ..
I havenโt seen them for a long time, I delayed my flight and I am determined to get back to my average normal weight before seeing them again ..

Although the scale didnโt move much this week, I am proud I was consistent with my diet and exercise. Changes in the mirror are starting to happen but most of all I can feel the confidence returning that I am strong and can do anything I put my mind to. I am proud of the progress I have made and I am determined to continue working on getting healthy.

Apologies, Iโm new to MFP. Iโd like to join please.
Im a 57 year old lady. Always busy, work hard, go to the gym where I do cardio & some weights.
Iโve always been active and pretty toned but the menopause has suddenly caught up with me. I do like to go out socially. I just donโt seem to be able to lose any weight at the moment. I feel like crap, achy, sluggish & old!!!
I have a cruise in December, Iโd love to lose a few pounds for. So here goes.

11/08-198.2-(Trend Weight: 199.7)- Traveling today downstate to accompany a friend on a specialist medical appointment. She needs me today and Friday to be a driver. Dinner will be out in the big city. Between that and no pill during travel, my weight tomorrow will be a disaster but I will bounce back. Even with several days of travel, I am aiming for another loss by next weekโs weigh-in.
11/15-195.8-(Trend Weight: 198.7)- Iโm doinโ the happy dance friends! Wow, all that yard work and good food choices is finally catching up. Travel today. Iโm hoping this good news will help keep me on track! Iโve worked hard this week on both diet and movement (yard work). It payed off!
