Considering how easy it is to make drop biscuits, aren't KFC biscuits a poor substitute? While growing up, didn't I often enjoy homemade drop biscuits with butter and honey? 😋

Since it’s been forever since I’ve been to KFC didn’t I check the Canadian menu for biscuits? Wasn’t I surprised to see we have them here too?

Aren’t scones made with eggs and biscuits made without? Don’t I also find the texture, shape, and sweetness levels different too?

Isn’t it good that it’s 3am and I don’t have access to either since I’m now very hungry for a cheddar and jalapeño scone?? 🤣

Did you know that there's a different, older and smaller Kentucky Fried Chicken besides the one most people are familiar with, and due to a copyright court case, the famous one opted to officially change their name to KFC a year or two ago?

@nossmf, do you know I think that isn't true?
Did you know, "In 1990, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, mired in debt, took the unusual step of trademarking their name. Henceforth, anyone using the word "Kentucky" for business reasons — inside or outside of the state — would have to obtain permission and pay licensing fees to the Commonwealth of Kentucky."? Isn't is also tue that, "The venerable Kentucky Fried Chicken chain, a mainstay of American culture since its first franchise opened in Salt Lake City in 1952, refused as a matter of principle to pay royalties on a name they had been using for four decades."? Didn't they come to an undisclosed settlement in 2006?

Isn't it ridiculous that a state could trademark its name?

arent biscuits and scones quite different in Australia too?

the photograph looked like scones to me - and have you ever seen a recipe for those with eggs???
    (I have not)

don't most biscuit recipes include eggs??

did you mean that the other way round?

are our biscuits what you call cookies?

Isn't it amazing how two people speaking the same language can still feel as confused as if they were speaking a foreign language? Doesn't this apply equally (or even more so) to generational differences such as between me and my teenage daughter?
