    What a great thread! My entire family loves Calvin & Hobbes. For my husband's birthday this year we had him dress in black shorts and a red and black striped shirt with a newspaper hat. We put my daughter's terrier in a tiger costume. Dessert was a cake made to look like a sledding hill complete with Calvin, Hobbes and several snow goons. For entertainment we played a homemade board game based on situations and places featured in the comic strip. Oh, and the menu for dinner consisted of "gross" food items. jnh1j0qaaprb.jpeg

    That is an awesome cake and a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday! Every birthday should have snowgoons and gross food!! Thank you for sharing!!
