Fix target for proteins, but include variable calories from exercise

Hi,
I wonder if its possible to essentially fix your one macro (protein) target to a set number of grams per day - however letting it stay fixed also when the overall calorie target increases due to training?
Currently, when I put in calories on a training day, my general protein target becomes unrealisticly high.
Essentially I am looking for a way to define a seperate nutrient distribution for the calories gained/earned from exercise.
How do others handle this?
Best regards,
KC

On the website it's the setting at the bottom of my screenshot:

I think it is a premium feature to determine a different macro split for exercise calories.
I don't have premium - I don't 'handle' it any particular way, I just know in my head what my goal is even if MFP says something different 🙂1 -
Leitchi's right. In premium you have options about how to allocate exercise calories, though I forget what-all variations are possible. I set my protein and fats to my grams minimums for those, and put all the exercise calories in carbs, since I ignore carbs as long as calories are close to what I want.
I'm sure the help docs describe the options completely.
When I used free MFP, I just set the percents to get close to my fat & protein minimums at base calories, and worked to those gram numbers (which were clear in my head), didn't worry about whether MFP thought I was at my macro goals as long as I knew I was.
YMMV.1 -
Thanks - I do have Premium - however do not see where I can allocate the macro split on exercise calories.
I agree that I can just ignore the targets from MFP as long as I know what I am aiming for. But it kinda makes all the nice pie-charts etc. unusable on a daily basis (after exercise has occured).
If I am missing some settings page, please point me in the direction :-)
Kind regards

Since I don't have premium, it's hard to know for sure. I'm going to guess it's under Goals, behind this setting:

I don't have premium, and honestly, I never really cared about the macro settings. I have a rough personal protein goal, and usually I get there, or at least close.0

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for spelling it out for me.
