I’m not aiming for steps per se but my minimum “walking for exercise” number for September should be 3 miles a day or 7,500 steps. I also committed to a daily yoga practice (YWA) for 30 days of September.

HappyDonkey75 You didn't stir anything, please don't carry that worry. I've had to help two pets over the bridge. The first was the worst; at least I knew what to do the second time. Duncan is ok. If you need verification of that, whatever faith you practice, you can ask for a sign that he's ok. You'll know it when you get it. <3 Sending love.

I hope everyone has a great start to the weekend. We're getting consistently cool temps here. I can't wait until we are done with heat/humidity. I don't need snow, just cold air and sun. I'm ready!🌞

There will be a sodium bump today. But I'm also going to walk again today. I was proud of myself, I got on the treadmill last night at 9:45pm to do my 2 miles. I really was going to skip it, but if I'm going to take this seriously, a serious person wouldn't skip on working out.

Michieb125 I love Adriene. I sometimes revisit some of her old intro to yoga videos from time to time. Her routines are so approachable, and every time I've stuck with it, I notice results right away — easier stretching, more flexibility, etc. Back when I was consistent and walking 3-4 miles a day and doing her yoga routines, I got down to the 170's.

I'm trying to work back up to 3 miles a day, by working from the treadmill, but it's hard for me to make that stick. I have to be on camera a lot, and I'm not doing that from a treadmill. :D

@ManifestingToday ❤️❤️❤️ thank you . I will keep looking for the sign. I ask the universe and god everyday for that sign.

I’m at the horse show this weekend so no weighing but getting lots of steps in . Definitely not eating healthy . I’m sort of throwing in the towel for the weekend given the week I had. I just need a break from the strict routine. My mental state ranges from sad to distracted and ok, back to sad. We got got Duncan’s ashes Thursday and part of that was a pendant with some his ashes contained inside this little canister, and it’s on a necklace chain. He is with me . He always came to horse shows with us and was the best horse show dog.
Just trying to carry on as best I can.

Sept Goal - Maintain 150 (1-2 lbs variation

    9/1 DNW Lost Duncan
    9/2- 149.4
    9/3- 150.6 10K steps
    9/4- 149.6 10K + steps
    9/5- DNW
    9/6 Horse show DNW
    9/7- Horse Show DNW
    9/8- 152

Another gut punch on the scale but not unexpected, given the weekend. I ate pretty bad, chips, jerky, bread, bratwurst, salty chicken dish one night at a restaurant, amongst other things and had 2 alchoholic beverage with dinner both nights. Plus not enough fiber and things were not exactly "moving " in the digestion department. Ugh.. Felt really crummy when we got home last night. I did have plenty of movement since I was on my feet most of the time and tons of steps, That didn't seem to be enough to offset my food options .

Today's goal is to get back on track with food and get my water intake back to normal . I also have to try to get in to see an eye doctor as my right eyelid swelled up over the weekend and is very itchy and red. Need to get that figured out before I leave friday for my trip. SO MUCH TO DO THIS WEEK!

I'm starting a little late, and I've never been active on any kind of message board, but I need help!

I've lost roughly 160 pounds in the past 3 years, which I'm happy about, but I cannot get the last 10 pounds off! Well, and actually now 15-20, as I had a small gain!

My current weight is 161, and ideally, I'd like to get to 143.

I'm going back to basics and logging everything daily! I just need some help staying on track!

Okay… time to get down to business. The scale is going in the wrong direction and I know why. I’ve been nighttime snacking. Not tonight. I will have a glass of Metamucil if I feel hungry and go to bed.

@SuperMotivated56 Congrats at getting into the 55’s.

First run of C25K done. Good news was that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be; bad news is that I ended up with a small blister on the back of my right heel, so i'll need to put tape on it for the next one. The 135 calories that MFP says that run/walk used up does no justice to how tired I feel this morning!

I am in the same situation, it’s very frustrating. I retired from a seditary job and for the past 3 weeks I have been logging my food, working out, and even Mt. Biking more and nothing. I’m sticking with it, but I’m damn frustrated.
