Sunny and cool this morning. Finished packaging my dehydrated meals, stuffed the excess into the freezer where it will keep better. I think I have enough for 3 or 4 weeks, although I don't have any plans beyond this upcoming week. Cooked up one of the dried "lasagna" meals for supper (looks like it went through the chopper); it was decent enough fare.

Never got out for a walk yesterday; did some piano practicing and wasted a lot of time on the foolish internet…

Hope Dave and Bill can get through their colds-flu-whatever and get back in action, and Steve can get out of the doldrums there. Prayers for everyone…

My tracking went off the rails yesterday; but today's a new day. Onward and downward.

    Good morning!

My shoulder is at 80%+. I am going to try to mow the yard today. Mowing can be rough on the shoulder. We'll see how it goes. I also need to clean the bathroom today.

Sunny and warm/hot in Kansas City for the next week or so. I think it got up to 87 yesterday, but with lower humidity, it was not too bad. Still, I'm ready for cool fall weather.

Prayers continue for the sick ones in the PNW, and prayers for the Ring family in GA.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Feeling a little better this morning - not well, but better. Progress is being made. Still think I'll stay home, rather than go to DGS' soccer game, this morning.

I mowed the lawn, yesterday, then took Sassy on a 2-mile walk. After that I napped for two hours.

I have tracked about half the time lately. Surprisingly, I was down a pound on the scale.

    Good Morning,

Praying for sickies to get feeling better.

DW only has 20 more radiation treatments

Charlotte still not holding temperature and eating as they would like so maybe will to go home next week.

DMIL called DD who is on vacation in Hilton Head to complain she was cold and did not have any pajamas, I went by nursing home yesterday and showed her two sets in closet.

Temps are cooling some, 90's gone, highs 80's then later next week 70's. We could use more rain, but forecasters keep lowering chances of rain.

Glad your shoulder is getting better Steve.

sorry indeed about Dave and Bill being sickies.

sending good thoughts to Charlotte to improve daily and go home soon.

Should be somewhat warm today maybe 80deg in PDX then dropping into the 60s and more showery next week. We do need the rain.

I mowed my lawn . I also mowed my neighbor's small lawn who had hip replacement recently. His was small but part of it on a steep incline and don't use a self propelled mower just my trusty Ego electric mower.

    cheers

    Good Morning

I seem to have turned the corner on this cold/flu thing. Stomach is finally calmimg down to. Tired, but taking less OTC stuff now. It is amazing how a cold can wipe you out. I will still take it easy today. If wind allows I will do a tri-tip on the oke Weber tonight. I am looking forward to a rainy week ahead.
