    Rise and shine out there…

Bob, that's positive news on the negative results. Hopefully the eye biopsy and other visit will go well also.

Sam, DW is really a stalwart patient; bless her heart.

Lee, that low point venison dish you had 4 cups of (quart?!) sounded delicious. Makes me want to take up hunting…

Still using Lose-It! app. Hard to stay consistent about always tracking every last thing. Got out late yesterday for a ~2 mile hike around a lake. Fall colors and late afternoon sunshine, but cold, cold wind made it feel like winter.

Piano class members decided to go to another location instead of the Senior Center and function as a self-taught practice group. The town library has a piano in a meeting room we can use. I went there after yesterday's class and checked it out. Needs tuning but almost acceptable as is. They may get it tuned, but if not I will offer to tune it myself. We will try it out next week and see what people think.

    Good morning!

I don't know why I didn't post yesterday. Frankie let me sleep until 6:30 this morning. I have already run 1.75 miles on the treadmill this morning. It feels so good to be running again.

Bob, good news on the negative test results. Praying for fast healing, and praying for your eyes. You need to get back on that bike again.

    Keeping Joanne in prayer too.

Hopefully, not much going on today. I am going to the grocery store for a few things this morning. I am not real sure about this afternoon.

We are supposed to get rain today for the first time in weeks. Our drought is severe. It was still 85 yesterday. Just crazy warm.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Good luck with the eye doc, Bob. Hope all is still negative.

Not so good for the Mariners. Guess it is a three-game series now.

Our weather has warmed up overnight. That means it is 51, heading for 63. DGD has another X-country meet this afternoon.

    Good Morning

I am glad the procedure went well and more importantly the tests results were negative. Prayers will continue, especially for the good report streak to continue.

We had a very enjoyable day going into the city yeseterday. I surprised Heather with an unannounced sidetrip to a covered bridge that we knew was there but I couldn't find a way to until I was saw it noted on Google Maps and zoomed in and saw the small road to it and noted the landmarks, mainly the river. Only one uturn so not bad. She was delighted, as was I. We drove across and then did some exploring till the dirt road we were on began to concern us. Did our errands, had a nice lunch and decided we were happy and content so headed home. Music and some finance stuff to do today. Nice cool fall weather continues. I will fire up the Weber tonight for some teriyaki chicken thighs.

Wow was expecting better of the Mariners at home, but I suppose Toronto was expecting more at their place too.

Good luck Dave w DGD and XC meet. Definitely warmer last night here close to 52deg for a low instead of 36deg.

Glad ya got to see the covered bridge Bill. We love biking thru those when we find them.

Did a beyond easy ride this morning but definitely not stressing out my 15 stitches just above the wrist.

    Hang in there all

    Good Afternoon,

Checked State of GA DOT website before we left today, no construction between Madison and Athens, yet we get up road and hit a 30 minute delay. We were late for treatment, they did talk her into postponing Monday and Tuesday's treatment till the following week due to blistering and peeling of skin.

I have an appointment Monday for hearing aids with a different company.

    Hoping for an uneventful weekend.

Be careful Bob, all it takes is one slip for arm and eye.

Glad some are getting/more physically active; helps reduce stress improves heart lungs and stamina.
