That feels better! Other non-scale victories:
I was able to put on my old belt. On my current jeans, the waist sits higher. So thatβs probably why, but itβs ok. It didnβt fit there either! π
I brought half my dinner home last night because I was miserably full.
Havenβt had an alcoholic beverage in 96 days.

@NonnieDoiron Congrats on such a long stretch without alcohol. That can be tough, but you are doing Extremely well on that and ALL fronts!
@Bemybestby60 Glad to hear the stress levels are down with your father in rehab now. I hope for his sake (and yours) that he will get his wish and be okay to be back to normal and alone at home. Fingers crossed!

My name is Donna. I am 65 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5β 5β tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018. I weigh weekly but also on the 1st and last day of each month for a full monthβs account.
Start Weight (from Oct 31st): 184.0

11/01-183.0 β (Trend Weight: 184.1)
11/02 β 183.0 βοΈ (Trend Weight β 184.1)I would love to make November a banner month! There is Thanksgiving to contend with but thatβs only One Day, as opposed to December celebrations (and baking, fudge making) that goes on all month long. So November needs to not be written off. Besides, Thanksgiving is near the end of the month, so thereβs that. I mean, what is stopping me right now? I really need to get the heck out of my own way!
π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/09 β 180.8 β (Trend Weight β 183.5) I definitely did NOT make it through my travel day on the 4th unscathed, nor did I do that great during the mini-travel and restaurant, cake & ice cream for my daughterβs birthday celebration on the 6th. However, Iβve buckled down and am showing a little more loss each day since. When I get this close to a new decade I usually grab my bags and run the opposite way and start gaining. This is self-sabotage, of course. And some emotional feelings of not deserving it. This time I am standing my ground! I hope by next week I will be somewhere in the 170βs although I donβt feel confident in decades until Iβve reached the magical number of 7 just in front of the decimal point (177, 167, 157 etc.). I always need that room to breathe! We had our first snow last night and itβs still snowing like crazy. So beautiful right now in Northern Michigan. Enjoy your week everyone!

Well, here we go againβ¦ up down up down up down.π (Iβm going to end it on down because that is the goal, and I donβt want to jinx it!)
I can feel the swelling/water weight in my hands especially, so I guess Iβm just going to be living with this crap unless I stop the HRT which my husband says makes me nicer. (Apparently, Iβm the meanest person alive.π) The fluctuations in the scale is just incredibly frustrating.
I only worked out on Monday because stupid me also stopped taking my arthritis meds for about a week thinking the weight loss may be helping. News flashβ¦ Itβs not. Iβve been back on it for 3 days now, and Iβm finally getting some relief. This weekend Iβll be able to get back to doing things. The plan to clean house. Next week, Iβll be back to walking every day except Wednesday (my usual midweek rest day).
