I did not get any apples done today due to having two Bible studies and a meeting. The apples that I did dehydrate came out really nice. We will be doing more tomorrow. It is supposed to be warmer tomorrow so hopefully I can get the windows finished. Since my computer was fixed I am having problems with being able to use Google Drive. I wish for the old days of just word and being able to save my own documents when I want. I am missing the old days today.

Barb - I had not thought about the girls still being on the old time. They do not know how to tell time yet. I know when I worked at night in a nursing time, it was hard with the dementia patients too. It was hard to know when to give medications also since I had either less time or more time to work with. I ended up giving medicaitons on the 1/2 hour not full hour sometimes. I am so glad that your treatments are showing some improvment in your macula. That is so encouraging that Glenn might have some treatment available for his eyes some time.

Susan - It was interesting to hear about your parents involvement in curling. I have watched it on TV and always wondered why they were sweeping ahead of the kettle. How does that help to keep it going where they want it? Does it make the ice smoother? You said that the lemon trees produce 9 months a year. Are they constantly blooming and in different stages of ripening?

Judith - You are correct that Barb and I look alike with our haircuts and color. I think you said one time that you still have dark hair. How long is your hair? Being able to pull my hair back into a ponytail like Susan said was convenient but I wanted a change. It will grow longer soon.

It is almost midnight so I need to go to bed. Pleasant dreams!

Barb, when I lived back East we had quite the Lightening shows and big cracks of thunder, my kids were never afraid of the storms. We watched the lightening a safe distance away from the windows. In Southern Ontario we had a lot of Summer Storms and in the Winter we had the freezing temps with high winds blowing the snow all around. A lot of snow and ice. One good thing there was lots of outdoor skating my kids loved. Also tobogganing down the steep hills. We sure had fun in all the storms that came our way! Glad you are enjoying the Devotions I share each day. I will keep Harry3 in much prayer. I didn’t realize he was graduating. Hope you can keep up with taking Harry3’s out walking so his balance improves hopefully he can find some things around the house to help HH and the girls with keeping up with his walking. And your dear Mom who is in pain, I am so sorry she is going through so much plain. It’s good that her injections will start on November 17th. I really hope they work and your Mom gets some relief from the pain! Thank you for sharing the good feedback you got back after you had the tests and they are seeing improvements in your eyes, this is good news!

Susan, it nice you enjoyed watching your parents curl. So nice it was the Mine Owners who provided the Trophies. And here we are talking about curling and this has made me Lol. I can’t believe I forgot to say my Mom curled when as a child I moved with my family to Quebec when Mom was transferred with her Work from Hamilton, Ontario. Quebec’s winters are very cold and much more snow and ice than Southern Ontario had, The workers at mom’s place of work all curled so she decided to try it out. She loved the sport. I would go with her and watch while eating dinner at the Curling Rink’s Diner… it was fun…so here is another thing we have common in. Wonder if we have any curlers amongst our Team? Thanks for answering my question I had about the Storms our News here spoke about. I was wondering if you had some new storms? Glad you didn’t have any new storms, I knew about the Hail storm but our news didn’t say anything about hail that’s what made me ask. Just glad you and the family are all safe. It’s coming up mid week so I guess Shaun is on his way back to your home. Hope he enjoyed his time away.

Linda, I thought you were busy, but didn’t realize how busy until I read about you having the meetings with one of them 2.5 hours long on Zoom. Wow, that would be so tiring. No wonder you were heading to bed. But I also read you had cut up more apples enough for 6 more pies. I can almost smell your home with freshly cooling pies on your counter tops. Yum yum 😋 How I wish I lived nearby as I’d be finding myself hopping on over. I am sure you make the best pies.

It’s late so calling it a night, Good Night All. Be back in the morning. 🙏🤗

Good Morning. Shaun and his family were here last night and have driven to their new town today. They are looking for a house to rent. They will stay there overnight at a Motel. With all the moving around, Inara is very unsettled and is having a lot of tantrums. They will be so relieved to resettle in January. They return to us tomorrow night.

Judith, glad you remembered about your folks curling! No, there have been no more storms or us since a couple of days ago. I watered my pot plants last night as they were needing it.

Linda, my Mother once told me they sweep to remove little imperfections and friction on the ice that would slow the stone down. It also helped guide the stone to the place they wanted it to go. They would stop sweeping just before the place they wanted it to stop. I never curled myself. The 40lb stones were a bit heavy for me when I was aged 11 - 13. I tried picking one up once. It was too heavy for me to swing and throw. Yes, lemon trees keep flowering and fruits most of the year then they have a few months of rest from that. I guess they concentrate on roots, leaves and bark when not fruiting.

Barb, I do hope 3 continues to improve. I remember you saying it might take 12 months to heal? The brain is a miraculous organ that can still surprise stroke patients years down the track. Keep hoping and praying. I also hope there is good news about your Mom soon.

Linda. I thought our hair dos are alike, so that was a reason to send my picture. I Hioe your apples got done today. That’s neat that you would give the meds1/2 hour earlier when we switched time zones. I hope they are sleeping longer for HH in the morning. Did you get the windows done? I have a few I like to wash curtains of but it may have to wait till spring and thats ok. I’m still like to get our glider away but busy days we have.

Judith thank you for giving us your schedules. Praying We did a bit ok ice skating growing up and sledding. I know there epwere tobaggins, but I don’t think I’ve ever done that. I did do,so,e snow shoeing in Wyoming 8 years ago that was fun. Neat hearing all celebrated snow and cold. Now I enjoy just walking and seeing God’s beauty. It’s so pretty, espresso it’s dirty or walked on. Yes, he is graduating bit still not walking without support. We did get to walk with him. He needs his balance and hopefully in Gods time. Will practice with him 3-4 times a week even without therapy. Louise, stil, is a retired OT so who knows. Hoping to,go,to,shopping with him too.

Susan. Prayers that Shaun, can find a place to live for he family. Yes, maybe a year. Some days I get discouraged naps when he’s hime he enjoys just sitting HH says, she can do,it in 5-10 minutes and 3 takes longer and she needs to make sure he does t fall asleep keep, prayong I would think while Annabella sleeps maybe but who knows.
We did walk with 3. He did good.

So today most of the day was spent changing our phones I still cannot access my email on,y new phone. So maybe another trip Harry had to go to work so his is not done. I still have Medicare and get the glider away and get my email on cell phone I also need to pull up a few plants I got some pulled up but still have celery to pull up.

I’ll send pics of Mariposa on slide and my mom who is still is in pain will tomorrow with Cher, be seeing about with Medicare what’s available.

I did get to work on the apples again today. My dehydrater only has enough room for about 8 sliced apples so it is a slow process but we will enjoy the dried apples during the winter. Today we spent time getting things done on the vehicles. We changed the oil in my car and rotated and balanced the tires on the truck. While we were waiting for the truck to finish, we went to Walmart and got our COVID and flu shots. My arms are getting sore now but I feel fine. When I got home I made stuffed acorn squash then had my first class for the Pre-diabetes. We have 6 in our class and we made goals of how much weight we want to loose, how much exercising and how to set up the food journal. It looks like we will have a bit of accountablilty as well as homework.

Barb - I did not get the windows done today because of all the activity we were doing with the vehicles and getting our shots. It was too cold to do this this morning but when it got warmer, we were not available. The windows are facing the back yard so if I do not get it done for a while, no one will see it but us. I certainly hope that the injections for sciatica will help your mom. Hearing that she screams in pain is heartbreaking to hear. I pray that the scope on Friday will show some healing for 3's vocal cords. Does it affect his talking still and does he still have a lot of coughing?

Susan - Praying for Shaun to find a rental house to live in. Are they planning to be in this new city for a long time? How is the housing situation to buy a house? I am so sorry that Inara is having tantrums. It is understandable that she would be unsettled with all the changes she is having. I remember my granddaughter was 2 1/2 when my daughter moved in with us and my granddaughter had problems adjusting. One thing that really bothered her was that she wanted her old bathtub. Evidently the tub they had in the prior house was special to her.

Judith - thanks for telling us stories of the fun your family had in the winter. I am glad for the memories I have of our kids in the snow but am glad that we do not live in an area that has snow now. It looks like you were very busy getting apointments scheduled. I will be praying for your change in medication.

Susan, I do hope Shaun is able to find a house to rent in the area they are moving to so they can get settled when they move there in January. I am so sorry that Inara is having such a hard time adjusting to these changes. It’s hard for a young one. Praying things get easier for her. We all enjoyed winter sports. As a young girl I loved ice skating, I lived near a pond that froze over every winter and the City would send the area engineers out to the site and test the depth of the ice making sure it was safe for us to skate on. Since Shaun and the family has been living at the house have you been leading any card making classes? I was thinking about that the other day so thought I would ask. How does Jasper and Oscar feel about extra people living in the house? Does Inara love playing with the dogs? Praying for you all.

Barb, love the pictures of Mariposa going down the slide. Looks like she was enjoying her time at the park. Thank you for your prayers for my upcoming appointments. Glad you enjoyed reading about my winter activities. My Mom and her 3+Sisters growing up skied, it was her favorite Sport. My Dad skied also so it was a nice activity for them to do as young adults. You mentioned you went snow showing when you lived in Wyoming 8 years ago. I’m sure it was fun. I tried it once with my Youth group but it wasn’t what I liked so did cross country skiing and ice skating with my friends who liked those sports. I continue to keep Harry3’s in prayer that he will improve with his balance. I am hoping the Scope will bring back a good report regarding his vocal cords How is Harry3’s speech? I know you have said he coughs a lot which made me think to ask about his speech. I am praying for your beloved Mom, so sorry to hear she is screaming out in pain, that breaks my heart. I hope they can get her pain under control. Hope you are enjoying your new phone & got the new phones changed over and was able to access your e-mail. Glad you got some yard work done. I was thankful I got the rest of mine done yesterday as today thru to Thursday night we are under a Severe Weather Alert. You can read about it on our Weather Thread. We had heavy rainfall pretty much all day. And our temps are getting colder. We had high Gusts 💨 of wind also which made it colder, 49 degrees daytime, we are in low 30’s tonight, saw the forecast after I posted earlier today.

Linda, You are getting a lot of apples done these days. It’s nice you have a dehydrator which will give you some nice dried apples over the winter. I always enjoyed dried mangoes and prunes. Never had dried apples. Do you eat them as a snap or do you add them to any of your recipes? Yes it’s that time of the year for changing oil and getting winter tires on your vehicles and putting the summer tires away. Do you have a garage to store tires and park your cars in during the winter? Glad you got your COVID and Flu shots. Sorry your arms are sore. This is the first year mine haven’t had any soreness, well, guess I should say just couple days my left arm was tender when I was putting on under garments but my right arm I had the Covid hardly bothered me, just couple of twinges but no soreness. You are making me hungry talking about acorn squash. I love all squash. That’s great you are getting settled into your pre-diabetes class. You will have to let us know how it’s going for you. Glad you enjoyed the stories of my winter activities, and I also am glad I am not living in a really cold climate like I did in Eastern Canada.

just saw the time and it’s my bedtime…so will say Good Night 😴 God Bless and Sweet Dreams 🛌💤 🙏🤗

Good Morning. We're enjoying a quiet morning. The Kids are staying out west till Sunday so we'll make the most of the quiet. All of us are adjusting to sharing our space, the dogs included. We'll get there.

Judith, I hope the severe weather doesn't cause any damage. Glad you have a safe and snug place to hunker down. Yes, Inara has had her whole world turned upside down. We have to help her even when she is acting out. Archie is protective of me so I have to watch him with Inara. He chases, growls and snaps if she runs. He does the same if she gets in his space while eating. Jasper is loving and sweet all the time and even crowds Archie away from Inara, but she can be rough with his kindness. The dogs jump up on my lap for protection. Then Inara wants up, too. So I put the dogs down and pick her up. You can see it's a battle sometimes! Sometimes all three wind up on my lap. That's interesting!! You are right, I am not holding card classes at home. It is too hard right now as space is limited. I have cancelled all but the one I do at a friend's house till after the Kids move. I am actually doing a class off site tomorrow. I hope I don't forget any essential supplies for it.

Linda, the housing rental and sale market out west is small. The Kids might buy a house out there if they like it. It's a bit of an experiment now, to see if they like living out there. That will determine if they stay a long time or not. There is talk of them buying a caravan instead and going travelling once Inara is school age. Yolanda will home school her if that happens. Everything is in a state of change right now for them. We'll see where the pieces fit. Yes, Inara is confused and doesn't understand why they can't go home to their old place. It's hard on her.

Barb, cute picture of Mariposa but the one of your Mom didn't come through. I hope and pray for your Mom and for 3. You talking of winter activities made me remember I used to ice skate, toboggan and snowshoe. I had a part husky dog who I trained to pull the toboggan with a single harness my Dad got from the Inuit there. We used to pull kids around a lot for fun. It was great exercise for Mukluk the dog! My Mom would hitch him up to pull my littlest brother to the Commissary then get him to pull her groceries home. I had forgotten about all that till I read your stories.

Susan enjoy the break now to Sunday. Praying they find a places and for Inaraadjusting olus Jasper. I hope your card class goes well I was wondering about that so glad you mentioned it.
I always like the husky dogs that must have been riding a toboggan pulled by your dog so neat. Plus I’m sure pulling with the kids was fun, & I’m sure it was good exercises for your dog & slept well too maybe at night.
Do many school out in Australia? Jean is doing it and in a co op, so she has help, which is good.
Prayers for you and Colin especially and with company, even if family, this weekend for a while. Adjustments when older is sometimes hard.

Judith. Enjoyed your devotions thank you. Maybe sometime I’ll check the weather post out but with getting up before 6 it takes a lot out of me, today I picked him up too at 3 after my 6 th eye treatment. So I’m tired by 9:30.
I got my flu shot and said no to Covid imdidnt get a Covid shot last year too I was fine. My arm was sore with the flu shot so I sure Linda’s is with 2.
Harry got his phone down too, but so far, I do not have access to my email on my phone AT & T couldn’t help a server not help with programs.
I found out my password but Google wants 2 id and something about a Q R code to access it. Crazy.
i still red to pull up the celery plant, a i hope I can tomorrow, but each day gets busy and I should probably walk again with Mariposa as last warm ,day Sunday a cold front comes and really drop the temps. Oh well it shouldn’t take long to pull up bit so dry here. In a severe drought here.
Harry still coughs some but i think it is less his voice is a it different it is softer as only one vocal cord.
Your mom is one of 4 girls like me and my mom was one of 4 girls too I believe.
My mom is on oxycon every 6 hours, hoping it helps her. 🙏🏻

(There were no mom pics as I don’t see her. I live in Kansas & she live in Pennsylvania.)

Linda, my arm was sore after the flu shot imdidnt take the covid shot. Imdidnt have one last year either. Glad you got the apples done. Are you finished with them? I’m sure you will enjoy them for some time.
I figure there is always later to wash or clean windows curtains etc.

We maybe busier with Harry 3 being home more after next week it’s all in the caring bridge. 3 put in a post and it’s very good. Today Annabella is 11 months old.
    Stay well all.

Pic of the girls playing at the park by their house.

There was a video of Mariposa pushing Annabella, but since video it would not work. It was cute.

I am a little slow today from the shots yesterday. I was still able to wash the final windows as well as go to Planet Fitness for exercise. Last night was the first pre-diaabetes class which was mostly infomrational. We have a lot of homework and things to keep accountable. I thought it was interesting that for our weight we have to take a picure of our scales showing our feet. I guess that is a way to tell if we are using someone elses weight but still how does he know if it is my feet? I could use a skinny person every time to weight for me so the toes match. There has to be some trust in the class and since it is for our own good, it is best if we do as we are told. Tonight was the weigh in at TOPS. I lost .5 pounds and was the biggest looser so the next month's dues are paid for me as a prize. There are just a few apples left to do but they are getting old and some are bruised. Glenn is still working on applesauce. He was blenderizing it before we freeze it and I notice the smell of hot plastic because the applesauce is so thick so I told him to give it a rest.

Judith - your snow adventures are fun to hear. I have never skied although we have some famous ski areas here is Colorado. There were no mountains to ski on in Ohio where I grew up so I did not have the chance. If I would try to do it now, my bones would not appreciate the workout I am sure. We did slide down hills in innertubes from tires. Sometimes we tied them together and we would really go fast. I have dried peaches and now dried apples to use this winter. We do use them for snacks but we also use them in recipies that uses the fruit to sweeten it naturally. We have a two car garage but only the truck fits inside of the garage. We also have a lot of storage area in there because our house is pretty little too. We also have a freezer and a refrigerator that takes up room. We do not need to store any tires in there. We have "all weather tires". Because we do not get much snow, we do not need special tires for traction.

Barb - Cute picture of Anabella and Mariposa. Anabella is growing so fast. It does not seem possible that next month she will be one year old. I read on caring bridge that HH is still not getting much sleep and is thinking about getting a caregiver for 3. That would be very helpful for her since he is not going to be going to therapy much longer. She did not say how many hours a day she would have help. It seems 3 can have falls even during the night.

Susan - I hope you can get some rest while Shaun and his family are gone until Sunday. I did not think about your dogs having problems with your temporary extra family staying with you. It is true that they are definitely effected by the changes also. How big is the city that they are looking to rent a house. What kind of jobs do each of them do? Can Inara's Mom (sorry I have forgotten her name) work from home if she does homeschool her. The story of Mukluk pulling the toboggan sounds very fun. I am sure he enjoyed the activity as well as his riders. They are so strong and love the cold weather.

Susan, we have more things in common, we already talked about my growing up years with the winter activities and sports. wow, reading all about the stories on Husky and your dog pulling you in the sled and pulling the groceries home for your Mom! Love the name of your Husky, Mukluks, how sweet. I forgot to mention few more things we have in common after reading the story of you having a Husky, Back in Eastern Canada my husband and I had big dogs in our household, we had a Samoyed, a Akita, and a Cross Shepherd and Lab. All the Dogs were Pure Bred except for the Shepherd Lab. We had 3 Males and 1 Female. Of course we had the Dogs at different times but we did have our Pure Bred Samoyed with our Pure Bred Sheltie. I ran “Snowball” (I know) it was my 4 year old son who said we had to name her Snowball as she was a ball of white fur when we brought her home at 7 weeks old. She was a big girl but beautiful but had way too much energy, so with my 16 month old in a carriage I ran snowball while pushing an English pram while Lynn slept and my friend walked Sassie our Sheltie with my son. My husband worked so someone had to run the dogs and I wasn’t able to handle a huge Samoyed without some help as I had 2 kids and 2 dogs and there was only 1 of me. So as our husbands worked we exercised the dogs and the kids got fresh air. The dogs were run twice a day. Now the other news that brings another area we have common in, about our Mothers) being 1 of 4 girls, my Grandparents had 4 girls, Helen, Margaret, Bette-Corrine and Audrey. My Mom Margaret was the second oldest and Aunt Audrey was the youngest. It seems the more we share our stories the more we find out about ourselves and that we have so much in common with each got her. This is so neat. I really hope Shaun finds a house to either buy or rent. I was wondering how the Boys would get along with Inara and having so many extras living in gather house. Is Archie the oldest? I ask as I could see he would be possessive of his space. And of course the Boys would be jealous with having to share you with Inara. This can’t be easy. Will keep this in much prayer. I am not surprised you wouldn’t be holding card classes in your home right now. You said you were at someone’s house tomorrow to lead a class. Hope you don’t forget any of your supplies. Hope it’s a nice break for you to be with the ladies. Blessings and Hugs my friend.

Barb, you mentioned that there was some updates on the Caring Bridges about Harry3’s being home more. I ad mit I haven’t been on the site for a while as I have been reading your updates here. You mentioned on our Prayer Thread that Harry3’s has his ENT tomorrow, hoping there is good reports come back from his appointment. It’s so hard to believe that it’s almost a year since Annabella was born. And next month she turns 1 year. I am sure you all will be having a great Birthday celebration 🎉🥳🎂love the pictures of Mariposa and Annabella. The Video would have been so cute with Mariposa pushing Annabella on the swings. So sorry it didn’t turn out.

Linda, you don’t need to apologize for starting later. After my Flu and COVID shots I was so very tired. For about 3 days after having the vaccines I was super tired, kept falling asleep at the table one time I was here typing my post to you all and woke up lifting my head from the dining room table. Dear me it’s no wonder I hadn’t fallen out of my chair, thankfully I didn’t. That is so interesting that you have to take a picture of your feet on the scale, I would think there would be more trust in the class. Anyway hope you find the class helpful. Congratulations on losing 5 pounds and being the Biggest Loser at Tops, awesome good job. You must be proud of yourself. That’s great you don’t pay next week. That’s so nice you have both dried Peaches and Apples for snacks and will use them in recipes for the natural sugar. Would you be able to post some of the recipes in our Recipe thread of the recipes you use the dried fruit in them please? I love dried mangoes and prunes but sure miss them now as I can’t them, I use frozen and fresh mangoes in my smoothies I make. I have used avocado to and in my smoothies I sometimes add a tablespoon of peanut butter for the protein. Your activity with tobogganing down the hills in tires, that would of been so much fun. And I can almost see the two tires tied together and you going even faster down the hill, what fun for you. That’s great you have a 2 car garage, good place for an extra freezer and refrigerator to store extra food. I have a deep freeze and use mine for storing extra soup my friend’s husband makes for me and the soup my DIL makes for me out of the fresh produce from her garden. The carrot soup and butternut soup is so delicious.

It’s bedtime now, so will say Good Night and God Bless.😴🛌🙏🤗

Good Morning all. It's an overcast day here and is going to be hot, muggy and a little rainy. That will be good for my pot plants.

Good news - the Kids found a nice house to rent outside their new town. It's a nice sized piece of ground. Inara loves her new school as they had baby chickens there. I wonder if the family will get some chickens too, once they settle in. There is talk of them getting a dog as well. They will move in the New Year. They come back here later today instead of tomorrow as they got everything done early.

Judith, we also used to have big dogs. When I was born, my parents had a Boxer/Dalmatian cross. That's how I started loving dogs. Then we got a pure-bred silver tipped Alsation. We left her with my grandfather when we moved to Australia and she eventually became an assistance dog for a young boy with cerebral palsy. Her puppies also became trained assistance dogs! We had Mukluk in Canada, a Husky/Malamute cross. He had a bent tail like a wolf so we always wondered if he had some wolf in him. When we came to Australia the second time, we switched to having a purebred Maltese! I was her primary carer/trainer and used to do all her grooming. Ever since then, I have kept small dogs, usually with Maltese in them. Jasper is the first one who has no Maltese. He is a Cavalier King Charles/Bichon Frese/ Poodle mix. Archie has Bichon Frese/Poodle/Maltese in him. Yes, Archie is the older being 6. Jasper is 4. About family, my parents each cane from families of 4. Mom was 3rd oldest. She had two older sisters and a younger brother. My Dad was 2nd oldest. He had an older sister, a younger sister and a younger brother.

Linda, the weigh in rules sound a little silly but congratulations on your weight loss. I hope the pre-diabetic group gives you lots of good information. Diabetes seems to affect each person so differently though. I encourage you to do that works for you! The town the Kids are moving to has a population of around 12,800. Yolanda will be a large supermarket warehouse store manager. Shaun is permanently retired due to health conditions after serving in the military. He is Inara's primary caregiver. He wouldn't make as good a school teacher as Yolanda. They may be in a position to allow her to give up work and homeschool for awhile due to making profits from their real estate ventures. It's all undecided at the mmoment. They can decide in the next two years as Kindy happens for Inara first then Pre School.

Barb, lived the picture of the girls! School is out in our summer for 6 weeks from around mid December to somewhere near the end of January. Today's card class will be the last one for me till maybe February. My four little cardmaking groups have decided we should go out for lunch together in December so I have 4 lunches to go to. I'm looking forward to having a break from prepping and teaching. I have kept up with the Caring Bridge posts and was glad to see Harry3 commenting on one of the posts. I hope it all improves for them and they find a Carer to help HH. I hope your Mom starts showing some improvements too. You take care with all your eye treatments and looking after family.

Susan. So glad your son Shaun found a house to rent. God is good. I hope the card class went well. I keep forgetting you are in spring & summer soon so no school in mid December thru Jan I assume so, as you said 6 weeks. Out here the kids are out for summer for 10 weeks. Plus get quite a bit for Christmas. Maybe almost 3 weeks.
It was interesting to read about your dogs. I grew up with a mixture mainly a Pointer. We glad 2 here a dachshund & mixture with Australian shepherd. Blue healer.
Thank you for the prayers it’s hard as it’s lasting so long, no one thought it be this way God is healing slowly.

Linda so Glenn did some apple sauce. I hope your done now. Congrats on your losing weight. &/not having to pay! So nice. I guess you’re not getting the Articmteo,we will get here and put east too. Thank goodness only Sunday into Monday. So short.

Judith the video was cute but no way to en it with MFp.
somwe took 3 to,the ENT as we were both at the same hospital seeing drs. Then we took him to get his free Italian sub he got free from his birthday, so that was ice. All this took most of the morning. My bp was high so I’m to record it 2 times a day hen send them to him - Dr.

Harry 3 report was slight movement on the vocal cord, but he has spasms on the vocal cord this is affecting his speech and breathing so his ENT Dr like hi to see a neurologist.
My sister Cher has a friend whose husband had a tumor on his vocal cord and now you never know as his voice is normal. He had spasms too it took a long time to heal a year at least.
Just keep praying for my Mom and Cher. Thank you all for the prayers.

    Prayers for all.

We are having really warm weather again after the cold we had. Today it was a high of 65F (18.3C) so we had a nice 1/2 hour walk. The trees are about half way through loosing their leaves. We took my computer back to the repair shop because there were still a few things that I need for the school that were not working. They had a hard time figuring what was wrong and ended up uninstalling Google Drive and reinstalling it. Two people were working on it to finally get all things changed. Now I am back to normal and do not have to do part of my work on my computer than have to use Glenn's to finish the work. That was frustrating because I had to get on his computer when he was not using it. It looks like you all read my post incorectly and congratulated me when I did not deserve it. I did not loose 5 pounds but .5 (half) a pound. The bigger number would have been great though. The dues are paid each month so I got a free month paid because everyone else gained weight.

Susan - I am so glad that Shaun and Yolonda were able to find a house with some property. You said they may have some chickens. Have they had them before? My friend who is trying to be like the self sufficient people on the prarie and make all her things herself has had to learn a lot of things since she was not raised on a farm. She started out raising chickens and things have continued to grow. I also grew up with lots of dogs that were a mixture of breeds then we started raising registered Brittany Spaniels and sold them to hunters. I really liked that size dog and they were so gentle. After I went to college my parents had german shepherd mix dogs. They can get aggressive and protective of the family. It sounds like fun to have 4 lunches to go to next month. I am sure they appreciate all you to for them to help them make beautiful cards. Do Archie and Jasper shed alot? When we get a dog I want one that does not shed. The one that my daughter has in Westminster sheds all the time. When I sweep under the couch there is enough hair to make another dog to sweep up. (LOL)

Judith - Glenn continues to be very tired from his shots but I seem to be OK other than some muscle cramps in my legs. He got up this morning, had breakfast then took a nap in the recliner for an hour and a half. I will post a recipe that I got from my aunt that she called "Diabetic Cookies" that are fruit sweetened. My grandmother was a diabetic for many years and my aunt made these cookies for her to eat. She was insulin dependent and I was fastinated with her glass syringe that she keep soaking in alcohol in a jar that she used every morning to inject her insulin. Times have changed since that time with disposible syringes and needles and more precise medications. For sliding down the snowy hills, we would tie together up to 5 tires together. It made it more exciting because as each tire would hit different bumps, it would pull all of us one way then another zig zagging down the hill to fall out at the end. Oh for the good old days when falling was fun and not dangerous.

Barb - You said at the ENT they saw slight movement in 3's vocal cord. Hopefully the neurologist will be able to help him with the spasms and get his voice and breathing back to what it was. It is encouraging that Cher knows a friend whose vocal cords healed well after surgery. Our bodies heal at the speed them want and we just have to be patient. The Artic cold looks like it covers a lot of the states including Florida but it seems to be missing us. Stay warm my friend this weekend.

    Good Evening Everyone

Tonight here in BC it’s on the chilly side and wet. We had rain but good thing in my area no flooding, so it’s a good thing. Our temps are 41 degrees tonight. Tomorrow night forecast says 39 degrees, and daytime high is in the low 50’s. So we are not getting the warmer weather that some of you are getting in your parts. Today I worked on a Birthday card for my daughter, I got the card completed on the outer part but have the insert to design, I chose my Stamps Dies and paper for inside, my card is done in a 3D style maybe more layers if I really counted them. When the card is completed I will share a picture. Then after I did my daughter’s card I looked at my supplies and chose my cardstock for the Christmas cards I am doing for the family. I had a busy day as I did some Christmas shopping, bought some things my granddaughter likes from the Body Shoppe and then few things from Amazon and the last shopping was at a Christian ministry I receive Devotionals from. It is a hard cover book on the Holy Land, it actually is a Visual Journey through the Book of Acts. This is what it’s about: Transform your understanding of Acts with a fresh perspective on its history geography and culture. Enjoy full color photos reference verses and surprising facts about each location in both the apostles day and the present day. The Book is for a friend and her husband. The Book is made available through Our Daily Bread Ministries! So that was my day.

Susan, so happy Shaun was able to get a house to rent. God is good. Thanks for sharing about you having large dogs too. Very interesting about your one dog who was an assistance dog and her pups also. I am sure the young boy loved the dog. My uncle raised Black Labs so from an early age I was always around large dogs. Thanks for sharing about your parents each coming from families of four. We sure have a lot in common with our families. It’s nice you have the luncheons to look forward to. It probably a good idea to stop your card making classes as with the family staying with you and Christmas coming, it’s always busy with all the special plays and choirs that take place at our Churches. I am sure the groups will miss the classes as you give so much of your time with leading these classes. You do make lovely cards. Speaking of cards just realized this is probably first card I have made for my daughter without a lot of ribbon.

Barb, that’s ok about the video, maybe another time you can find a way to post the video. I see you both were at same hospital today at different areas. That was so nice to take Harry3’s out to have his free Italian Sub he got free for his birthday. I am sure he enjoyed it. So sorry to hear about your BP being high. It’s good you will send the record of your BP so your Doctor can keep track of it. Will continue to keep you in prayer. I hope the Neurologist can help Harry3’s with the spasms, speech and breathing. It is encouraging that Cher has a friend whose husband had a tumor on his vocal cord and is voice and speech is normal. now you never know as his voice is normal. Will pray for Harry3 Cher and you Mom for God’s Will and for His Healing.

Linda, I saw the Diabetic cookies on our Recipe Thread, they look delicious. Thanks for posting. I am back, been very tired tonight and with all the dampness and cooler temps my body is sore but all ok now. You said Glenn is tired from his shots, it will hopefully pass and he will be less tired. Thanks for sharing about your Grandmother being an insulin dependant diabetic. My Dad was also an insulin dependent diabetic for many years but did manage the disease. Yes I can imagine you would be fascinated with seeing a glass syringe, wow, medical technology has sure come a long ways to everything being disposable. Makes life so much easier. Hindsight, I can’t imagine giving an injection with a glass syringe! You said about your days of sliding down the snowy hills using 5 tires tied together, I can almost see each tire hitting the bumps which pulled you all in different directions, you sure would be zig zagging down the hill which I can see you would fall out of it at the end of your ride. And I am sure it was a forceful fall with coming to an abrupt stop, you would have been literally thrown out, and I’m sure you were Lol and would scramble up the hill to do it all over again. And yes, I so remember those days when falling was Fun and not dangerous! Those were the days…

it’s bedtime now, I began all my posts and now finishing at 12;20am Saturday morning. Be back later today! 🙏🤗

JuJustva quick check in as the morning has disappeared and I am off to church. The Kids got home yesterday afternoon when I was out teaching a card class. Mornings are very full for me now with Inara being an early riser who likes cuddles and lots of noise too. The dogs needed extra grooming this morning as well.

I may get a chance to come back later....

Susan. We hope you were blessed with gods word Sunday. We will get our blessings I guess while you sleep? Hope your mornings get a routine now with all the extra people around and noise. Plus your dogs Jasper & Archie get use to the extra noise too.
You might enjoy the cuddle as that seems to not last very long with children. Sorry about the noise and early riser.

Judith. So glad you got your daughters bday card made. We look, forward to seeing the picture of it. I’m sure it will be special as home made.

My sister is going to ask her friend how long her husband had spasms lasted. She just remembered he had them and it’s part of the healing. So that is encouraging.

Linda. I thought you didn’t get the cold and I thought insane that Florida would get it too. That may damage the grapefruit and orange crop though some has already began. We woke up today with our heater not working. We did get it fixed so it will be a warm night and day. Tuesday the cold leaves us. Sorry about your computer I hope they get it fixed quickly and won’t cost much. Also that Glenn won’t be so tired. Prayers.

I got my email working on my phone! I did it myself! Oh that felt good, the problem was Google with their 2 iD’s and face plus fingerprint don’t count that much. Oh well it’s done!
My mom is in the hospital again yes, her 4 time for pain in 2.5 months. It’s her compression fractures. ( At mid back area, where the curve of her scoliosis is). Her spine is very twisted and that doesn’t help she needs to sleep to heal too.
Thank you for all the prayers, so with our son and my mom that’s why my bp is high.

We did get a bit of rain it wet the street, but not measurable again. A meteorologist calls it drought rain. We’ve not really had any good rain since July.
    Prayers for all.

Today was a baking day. I made communion bread for the church and I also made the cookies that I shared on the other thead and used dried apples and some dried pineapple we had bought at Costco a while ago. I used some of the apples that we are working on. The recipe takes a total of 1 cup of dried fruit so I just combine that amount in what ever dried fruit I have on hand. Of the 10 things I had on my to do list today I only have one left. That is to dig holes for my hyacinth bulbs. They have been in the garage since this spring after they bloomed for my birthday in a pot. I hope I have not waited too late to plant them.

Judith - I look forward to seeing the card you made for your daughter. How long does it take to make a card? Are all of your cards for Christmas different for each person? The hard cover book about the Holy Land sounds amazing. Knowing more details about where the Bible books were written or where the biblical characters lived and walked add so much to reading the Bible. It makes it feel so much real. I have never used a glass syringe but I did one time have to use a tablet of I think it was morphine that had to be disolved then injected. It was very interesting and I felt unsterile. Your description of 5 of us going down the hill in innertubes was pretty much exactly how it happened. You have a great immagination.

Barb - I am glad that you were able to get your heater working again. When it is really cold outside, you definately need a way to keep warm. I am sorry that your blood pressure was high. You have a lot of things that would be stressful that could bring up your blood pressure. I hope that it will come down daily during the week as you take it twice a day. Being at home can be more relaxing than being in the doctor's office. Yea, you were able to get your email working on your phone. Sometimes it is just beyond my skill level to fingure the things out. I am so glad that we had people to help us yesterday to fix my computer. I was also glad that he said that maybe it was the way they fixed it last time and forgot a step. Praying for your Mom as she is in the hospital again. Have they tried putting cement in her fracutures?

Susan - My grandchildren get up earlier than I do when they visit but they are old enough that they enteratin themselves until I get up then they help me make breakfast. Inarra is not old enough to be able to do that. After they are gone, you will miss this special time with her in the mornings. What time does she go to bed? Are you able to go to be earlier also so the early morning is not too bad?

Susan, I hear you and feel for you with the early mornings with Inara and keeping Archie and Jasper happy also. I remember when Logan was 1 year and before he could be in daycare I had him weekdays from early morning about 7:30am to 4:30/5:00pm when my SIL dropped him off and picked him up. I had him until he was almost 3. The mornings were a little easier as he would have an hour long nap and slept 1.5 hours in the afternoon. But Logan did go home at night and home on weekends but you have the whole family 24/7. I am hoping the mornings will get easier for you. And your cuddle time will be so precious I can see you getting up earlier to get ready when Inara wakes and looks for Grandma’s cuddles. I am praying extra for you my friend. Hope you were blessed in Church today.

Barb, so sorry your BP is up but understand with all the stress you are under with Harry3 with all that he is going through and your dear Mom being back in the hospital again. I do hope her Doctors can find a solution for getting her pain under control. I’m as we all are praying for her. So glad you were able to get your phone connected to your e-mail, that’s great you were able to figure it out. It’s good you got your heater fixed to keep warm. I heard on our news about Florida being hit with a cold wave. I hope they don’t lose too many oranges and other crops. Praying for the safety of the people. That is great your sister is going to ask her friend how long her husband’s spasms lasted. You mentioned she had remembered he had them and it was part of the healing process. She just remembered he had them and it’s part of the healing process. I continue to pray for healing for Harry3.

Linda, you sharing about baking days, remembered my baking days and as a child would help my grandma, we would spend the day baking up a storm. We baked pies cakes loaves, cookies, squares and bread, fruit bread, white and whole wheat bread. You said you made Communion bread for the Church, that is so kind of you, that is one bread my grandma never made. Perhaps you could share the recipe on our Thread, thinking of anyone who might have Home Church or a Home smaller group Bible Study. It would be so special to Break Bread that has been home made. I am sure the Diabetic cookies are so enjoyed. I am going to share the recipe with a friend who is diabetic. Hope you don’t mind. You and others mentioned and were asking about the card I am making. It’s not finished yet, I have the design to figure out and what word stamp I will use inside the card. I chose the inside cardstock insert but have the next steps to complete it. Once it’s done will share a picture!

Off to bed now, Good night 😴 and God Bless! Have a Blessed Lord’s Day…🙏🎚️📖

G'morning friends. Busy morning here. Inara didn't want cuddles but is active and needs watching. It's all go around here in the mornings. Shaun has a flying lesson so was gone by 6:30am, Yolanda has a big shopping trip planned for her, Inara and Colin, and I have Uke practice. Only about 2 weeks till the play. There's talk of Christmas decorating going on in the house already.

Susan. I’m sure with the extra people living there your usual routines are all being changed. Prayers it goes smoothly i hope your practices with your Uke go well too. You’ll have to send a picture of your playing and performing in your play. I’m sure your family will enjoy watching you guys. I wait till after thanksgiving to decorate but many here do not. Of course Australia does not have thanksgiving holiday it’s one here in the USA that is overlooked and Christmas pushed in yet to me thanksgiving we need more of. .

Judith. So the hospital is trying to control my mom’s pain. They even have her using nasal spray. Supposedly it may help heal the worsening compression fractures. Her spine is a mess. They my see a neurologist radiologist, to get his opinion.
My mom knows when it’s time for more meds as her pain gets bad. In Gods time. I just hooe the hospital does not send her home too soon. Please pray for Cher as she tries to navigate what is best for our mom too.
This is 3 last week of therapy, the I guess we will be doing it with him. 3 is to make a schedule & the therapist are to give him some exercises to do. Please pray for more healing & no plateaus.
so glad we get a picture after the card is made. Thank you.

Linda. I don’t think I’ve ever had home made communion bread. Interesting. I sure hooe that you have lots of bulbs blooming next spring. What colors did you get? Sounds very neat. Any idea when yiur computer will be fixed imhoe it’s really fixed this time.
im not good with technology. The problem was 2. I’d with Google. They have this QR code which I’ve never have don’t QR codes, so I was getting a circle, kept going around and around, then In finally I got it to work and thank the Lord for it. Sounds like your Saturday was busy baking. I raked some leaves and did some more today. We hve trash pickups on Monday and yard waste is also picked up too.

I was that the Christmas shoe bp today and next week we will be collecting them. I’ll be helping 2 afternoons & we have a lot of volunteers so that is good. I heard that our old church is hoping to have 500 shoeboxes they will be bringing them to my new church. We better have room. We have a meeting on Thursday afternoon, near the end of our Joy group. I’m the table decorator and so it’s the cleanup that I’ll misss. Others will be leaving too I wish the training was a bit later as it’s to, be singing and praising shan’t God has done this year. So,very interesting.
I have 2 macula therapies this week then my 9 and 10 therapy will be one a week. So I’m nearing the end.
I am glad I have a month to check my bp and get a better idea on what I going on.
Tonight our low October 20* older than Christmas. Cray and by Friday maybe *. So glad our furnace is working. Prayers it stays on all winter too. Thank you for the prayers.

I just saw on the news that it is possible that the government shutdown will be over tomorrow with a vote from Congress. I am so relieved that these people realize that how many people have been suffering unable to buy food. I know there are people who are just using the government who could be working but I also know people who are really in need. I have two more recipies I want to check out that was given to us with the pre-diabetes class. It is granola that is sweetened with only banana and banana bread that is sweetened with bananas and a little honey. I will share it if we like it. I made green tomato relish today which was a long process but it got rid of a lot of green tomatoes. It is sweetened with honey and is similar to regular pickle relish but also has onions and peppers in it with the green tomatoes.

Judith - You are free to share any of my recipies with anyone that would want to have them. I enjoy getting recipies from people who have already made the item and know the recipe is good. The church in Denver put together a spiral bound cookbook that was made up of favorite recipies from the members of the church. The cook book is special to me because it reminds me of my friends and when I make the recipies, I think about them. My aunt also made a cookbook of our whole extended families favorite recipies. The recipies of those who have gone on ahead of us still remain with us as do their memories.

Susan - What kind of shopping was happening with Yolonda, Colin and Inara? I hope that the Uke practice went well and the play is a success. Is it a holiday play? Yolonda probably appreciates you being up early with Inara. Does she like to sleep later or is she up doing things too? What type of plane is Shaun taking lessons to fly?

Barb - We decorate after Thanksgiving but lots of the stores already have whole shelves of Christmas items. I am glad that the hospital is trying to find the cause of your Mom' pain by getting some specialists in to look at her. Since she has been in so many times for the same reason, I hope they take it seriously this time. Insurance will sometimes not pay the hospital as much if a person has to be readmitted multiple times because they think the hospital did not do a good job the first time. This loss of money is not passed on to the patient but is a loss for the hospital. I am glad that therapy is including you this coming week so you know what to do to help 3 continue to progress. The hyacith were the usual purple color which is my favorite. I will let you know in the Spring if they were viable. We do not have to put our leaves in the trash. If we put the leaves on the street by the curb, a big truck with a vaccuum attached to it will suck them up for us two times this Fall. The people that do our lawn work take care of our leaves for us. The people at the computer shop were able to fix my computer and I brought it home. It is so nice to have it working well again and we did not have to pay for it since it was not my fault. The shoe boxes are so helpful for the children. I am glad that you have the opportunity to help with this project.

Linda, Thank you for sharing about the Government lock down could be coming to an end tomorrow with Congress voting on it. This is good news. It’s gone on way too long. That’s great that you got some more recipes. You mentioned about your church did a Cookbook together and have lots iof good recipes that you know are good. Our Church did the same thing, I have all my loaves in the cookbook as over the years I made a lot of fruit loaves and the ladies always asked if I would make one for our luncheons we had. I got some great recipes from the ladies and other members of the church. Please put the Green Tomato Relish, sounds so yummy.

Susan, hope your Ukulele practice went well. It’s going to be exciting for the family to see you and Colin in the play. You mentioned Yolanda had a big shopping trip planned for Inara and Colin, any special place they were going? I am sire they all will enjoy. You said there was some talk about decorating for Christmas. I decorate right after my daughter’s Birthday, it’s been a tradition that all my decorations are up by December 1st, last year I had the decorations up by last day of November.

Barb, I am still working on my card but did get a lot more done today. I have medical appointments this week and the following week so will aim my card getting done by the weekend. I just got Timed out and what Instarted on my post for you Barb I lost, I had saved the part about my card making and was texting and just as I thought I better save what I had shared, the site closed down….so frustrating. I am glad the hospital is working at controlling your mom’s pain. Hope the nasal spay helps. Hope it does work out that your Mom can be seen by a Neurologist. It would be good to see if he has some suggestions that would help your Mom. As you said Barb, I too am hoping the hospital doesn’t send your Mom home too soon. I am praying for your Mom and for Cher as she is trying to navigate through what is best for your Mom. The time has gone by so quickly and realize it’s Harry3’s last week for Therapy. Happy you will help Harry3’s with his therapy, it’s good the Therapist is giving Hatty3 some exercises to do while he is home for now. I will pray for Happy3 that no plateaus and for more healing.

Off to bed now, Good Night 😴 God Bless! 🙏

Good morning. Every morning is hectic. We got Shaun off to helicopter flying lessons at 6:30, Yolanda made smoothies for herself and Inara, cooked bacon and eggs for everyone else for breakfast (bless her!), there is activity around the dishwasher, kitchen counters with meal prep for later today, dog feeding, cleaning up after dogs, dodging children's toys and dog's toys, and a child who screams around on a tricycle between everyone's legs, refusing to listen or cooperate. I changed Colin's blood sugar monitor while Inara screamed to 'get out of the way' as we were standing in a small area of the kitchen. She didn't win that argument and we calmly went on with the insert. Colin is off to get a haircut in a minute. I still need to shower, comb out the dogs, get into formal choir gear. Inara is in the way of everyone, screaming. It's a tight morning too as it's Memorial Day and I am singing in the choir. Colin is helping to set tables after his haircut in the Clubhouse for the Memorial Day lunch and I need to get there too to warm up before we sing by 9:30am. Yolanda was going to come to the Service with us but with Inara having a blow out day, maybe not. I do fiercely love Inara but some days it's harder than others. I think I have to admit I'm getting old and selfish! It would be so nice to have quieter mornings! I know she will grow up and I'll look back on this with rose coloured glasses. It's only till January.

The shopping trip yesterday was for things Yolanda needs in yhr new house, clothes for them all and Christmas presents.

The theme of the Nov 29th play is loosely similar to the Back to the Future movies, with time travel and silly things changing the future whenever a time jump is made. It's a comedy and a bit of a musical too. It was written by two Village residents and is being completely produced in house with sound, lighting, props, costumes etc all being provided by residents. About 100 people are involved in the show so it's quite a coordination exercise.

Linda I heard about the shut down coming to an end too, though it may take so,emrime to,get everything running. I assume the air traffic especially. I wish the ones who vote no would not get pay, like n what happens to us the shut down ight it lst long. Oh well, I was wondering if Medicare would pay with my coming in for he same thing. God knows. Yes, so many decorate for Christmas right after Halloween. Of course stores put up Christmas displays up very early like right after July. So many celebrate it but Christmas is all they care about which is good with what Jesus did for us,but being thankful is so important too.
So glad your computer is fixed & is working!, plus no cost!, PTL

Judith I remembered you have drs this week and we are praying for you. Prayers they find answers and can help you. Your card gets done when it gets done. Prayers you can achieve it. My mom seems to have a better social worker and they did find out hat she has 8 vertebrae compressed disks and not 4 like we thought. A brace would not be very helpful for her and so nasal spray that which helps heal, fractures, and anti inflammatory med and pain meds. Very light PT. They do not want to discharge her to soon. She may have rehab. My sister is thinking of assisted living. Which I thought of a month ago. Not sure with having macula treatments how much I’m a help empty her place. Plus my mom likes her possessions. There is always storage too I guess. God will work it out. Just keep praying for wisdom

Susan. So,glad the ukulele practice went well. Prayong all goes well with the extra. Glad they got some shopping done. Sorry bout the noise in the morning my e in time it will get quieter. Today was ev s 3 birthday we will be with the, tomorrow for supper, it is also, our Marines 250 bday today. Then tomorrow is our Veterans Day.
Your play written by 2 residents, kind of like back to future sounds very neat. Enjoy.

Well, Jean and Tim have his mom for who knows how, long. Her roommate kicked her out and she is suicidal. So Tim got her. She might have forgotten that today, is her grandsons bday is today. She’ll find out bout us tomorrow & Evan’s s bday party on Saturday, we have tickets to a New Theater, which is a play and meal. Going with a group from church.
Plus Tim plans on making Thanksgiving meal for us. His mom will just be there. Oh well it’s sad. So Jean with one school, a 6 month old now has her MIL too. It will ll work out like with my mom. I had my 7 therapy with my eye. My last one the week of Thanksgiving , then i will see the eye Dr and testing on 12/5. Lots to lift up to our Saviour.

Today was cleaning and laundry day. I try to do my laundry the same day I do the floor mopping so the mop heads do not get so stained. I made the heads out of an old towel that I did not like because it was too rough. It is perfect for mopping. Tomorrow I will be at the hospital sitting with a friend who has a partner who is having shoulder reconstruction sugery. In my experience, sitting in the surgical waiting room can be pretty long without someone to talk to.

Judith - The government shutdown is not over yet. It still needs to pass the Senate and be signed by President Trump before it is official but it looks like it will be soon. I thought that Glenn said it was closer to being stopped than it really was. Is your postal strike over? You spoke about it a while ago and I never asked about it again. It sounds like a busy two weeks again for you with doctor appointments.

Susan - I am so sorry that your house is so boisterous. Does Inara have time to play outside to get rid of some of her energy? Your house sounds pretty small to have such big energy bursts. I understand when you say that your love your grandchild but need your space too. It is nice when we go back to Westminster that our granddaughter is gone to college. It is a much quieter house and even the dog seems to be calmer. I realize it is not the same since our granddaugher is not nearly as loud as a preschooler who screams orders at people. We will pray for peace in your heart and patience to deal with this situation until the end of the year. Your play sounds hillarous. You have some very talented writers in your village. Do you have a speaking part? Having 100 people involved in the play is a lot of people to direct.

Barb - I am surprised about the 8 vertebral fractures that your mom has. That would be very painful with every movement. Why do they think that a brace would not work for her? I think that Asssisted Living is a good idea for her. She would have staff nearby if she needed anything or assistance that she needs with dressing, bathing, etc. My Dad loved being in assisted living and haveing a lot of activities to get involved in. He started a Bible study but had to stop when his vision became too impaired that he could not read his Bible. That was a hard time for him to loose his ability to read. If your Mom goes to assisted living, there will be alot of downsizng for her to do. It would be easier if she would be able to go through things by herself instead of you later. Of course, that may be a long ways down the road that decisions need to be made with her housing. Your family is a very caring family in that they help family members as you do 3 and Cher does your mom and now Jean and Tim have his mother. I hope she gets some mental health counseling since you said she was suicidial at first. How old is Tim's mother? A theater with a meal provided is a fun place to go. We have gone several times although the food is not very healthy, it is a fun occassional date nite.

Today for me started off with an hour long Bible Study I do via Video. We finished up our Study on the Characteristics of a Christian. Our next several studies are on the Women of the Bible. We are studying the Life of Miriam. We break for Christmas on December 8th as it gets really busy with family and Church activities so we break early. We are back in New Year, date is yet to be determined. This afternoon it was a sorting out of Christmas gifts already bought and sorting out of Christmas Gift Bags, what bows, tags are needed. I was pleasantly surprised how organized I was with having as much as I do.I have my Cardstock for my Christmas cards I make for family, the Dies, Stamps, markers, embossing folders and embossing powder. I have my design already decided on. I’m way ahead of what I was doing for my daughter’s Birthday card! I have a list that again was so pleased as I ticked off things I had done. The weekend I am excited to finish Lynn’s card, I did a little work on it today.

Susan, you have quite a talented group of Villagers with a group writing the script, directing and then there are the costumes having 100 in the play is both awesome and impressive with pulling it all together as they are doing. Do you have a speaking part? I know you are 0laying your Ukulele, you mentioned a Choir, are singing in the choir?sorry to ask but I have lost my train of thought in how much you do besides playing your instrument. Your play sounds like it will be so much fun, I look forward to hearing all about it. So sorry you were dealing with such a chaotic household this morning. It sounds like Inara haas too much energy and doesn’t know what to do with it all. . I hear you when you say you love Inara so much but when Inara gets in these boisterous episodes it is so hard. I am praying for you for a calmness to come in your home and for Inara to be calmer and quieter. Hope your morning practice went well. I hope things quiet down so Yolanda and Inara can come to the play, it would be good for them all. Hope Yolanda can take Inara outside to play, perhaps a visit to a local park, where she could be on climbing equipment, swinging on the swings and playing on a teeter totter.it would be great fun, and she would get the added fresh air which would give her a good night sleep. I ohften took my grandkids out to the park, I took sidewalk chalk and big bottle of bubbles. The kids had such fun. This helped avoid bursts of energies and even screaming. I wonder if this would help Inara?

Linda, you had a full day with getting your laundry done, that is a clever idea of using an old towel as the heads of your mops. That’s a great idea. This is so nice of you to go with your friend to sit with her while her husband has reconstruction surgery on his Shouler. I am sure she will so appreciate you being these with her. Sitting in a surgery waiting area is not fun. At least she will have someone to talk to. Thank you for the heads up regarding the Government Shut down. Hope the Senate passes it and President Trump signs it before it’s officially over. Hope it happens soon. You asked about our Postal Strike. Thankfully they settled and are back on the job however the mail is really slow. I am getting mail but it’s really behind. I am going to write out my Christmas cards and get them all mailed out by the end of November. I am hoping all my family and friends who live out of the Province will receive their cards. I worked on my Birthday card for my daughter again today. Hoping I will have the card done by the weekend.

Barb, I didn’t realize you Mom had 8 vertebrae fractures. Such a painful condition for your Mom. You mentioned about assisted living, how does your Mom feel about it? It’s hard to have to think about giving up the things she would be attached to. I have known people who do very well. It’s a very tough decision to make. It takes time. Will keep this in much prayer. You and Cher have a lot on your plate. You are so involved with helping Harry3 and helping HH with the girls, and your involvement with Harry3’s therapy with walking and all that you do, especially now after this week he is at home, and now the added responsibilities with Tim and Jean who have his Mother living with them. So much is going on for you, you are still having your macular treatment, all I can say is my heart goes out to you my friend…You said in one of your comments that Tim’s Mom was suicidal. Will they get some counselling for her. There is much to pray for. Thank you for your prayers regarding my medical appointments. So appreciated.

It’s a little late and this gal is tired. Off to bed. Good Night all…😴💤🙏🤗

I I am so upset with MFP, lost my text to all 3 of you 4 times. I saved a small portion and will go and try and sort it out and post it again. 🙁
