All exercise is being deducted from daily calories.
is anyone else in the last 3 days having issues with exercise calories in that they are all being deducted from the daily calorie allowance (and yes I know how they usually work, and been a user for a number of years).
I use Garmin watch with connect and an apple phone.
thanks

I've not had the same problem, but maybe they're related.
For the last 3 days (since Saturday) myfitnesspal will import my steps correctly, but won't import any general calories.
It imports them fine if I do a seperate tracked activity, like a run, but any other calories burnt from just everyday moving aren't being imported.
I'm using a garmin & connect on an android. I've tried disconnecting & reconnecting them, but that didn't help.

Yeah, I am also getting no calories earned from steps. Garmin/Android.
I also know how the calculations work, qualified PT using MFP for 12 years. My 18,000 steps should give a calorie adjustment when I'm set to "Not very active" activity level.
My husband is having the same issue.

Thanks for the comments.
I think it is all sounding all very similar. And all starting around the same same time.
I keep checking to see if there are updates for MFP or GC but none as yet.

I've also had this issue since about the same time. MFP will either log no or way too few calories for speps recorded by Garmin. Seems to be a problem on the MFP end, since garmin connect shows the normal amount of active calories for me.

I’m having the same experience, with MFP and garmin. I emailed MFP and they have stated that they have made adjustments in the algorithm for calculating calories burnt during exercise. This has only happen these last 4 days. I noticed huge calorie adjustments by up to 300 calories by the of each day. Normally it about 100 calories. Definitely something is being over zealous in the system. I’ve been a premium member for years and the system worked for me. It isn’t working at the moment!!

I have this issue but mine is way under estimating compared to usual. Yesterday I did 12k steps and only had a calorie adjustment of 20?? A week or two ago that would have been 2-300. It's really annoying me because I do factor exercise calories into my daily calorie input.

No idea how long this issue will take to be fixed
already one week in now!
