It is cold and wintery here in Michigan today. Thank God I have access to indoor riding systems. I really start cranking up the miles when the weather gets cold.

There has to be about 2,000 extra calories in my post-Thanksgiving tank that need to get burned off somehow the rest of this weekend.

1918 miles done. Did my first "long ride" of 31 miles easy-medium, took about 2 hrs 5 min and day after 14 mi at spin class.

I love winter b/c I get to ride indoor as much as I want and not get cold or sick.

Let's all get our miles in for the year.
Next year like last year, I will ride cycling challenges by the American Heart Association in March and the American Red Cross in April. These combined are 500 miles.Quite a good way and a kick in the A** to get your cycling going early and showing improvements.
Let's keep going and enjoy the end of the year strong and with healthy workout habits!
