Just booked flights!

Well I've just booked flights for my family to the Gold Coast in March next year, so I have till then to get small enough that I don't need a seat belt extension and can put my tray table down without cutting off my breathing! And so that I can go on the rides at the theme parks and generally have a fab time!! I can do this, lord knows I need a holiday and I want to do something fun with my kids before they get too much older, I've put off the fun for long enough!

Sounds like a great goal - a wonderful family vacation. Maybe post a picture or two from your destination on your mirror or inside of a closet door as a daily reminder of your goal. Good luck!0

One must remember that its not a battle you are trying to win, its a war. Take it day by day and you will be alright. I find it best to tweek 1 or 2 small things in my life at a time. Once I get used them I add in a bit more. I started by working out with free weights once a week, then twice.. then after I got into a habit of it. I added watching calories. once I got that down consistantly, I added fasting for most of the day and only eat dinner. I am not suggesting you do what I did, I am just suggesting if you are making signifigant life changes, it has worked better for me to phase them in. 1 or 2 weeks at a time.0

That is a great idea! I'm going to put them on the door infront of my treadmill to give me something to focus on!0 -

Thanks for the suggestions, right now I'm doing great and I'm not going to add fasting into the mix, it's just not for me I would end up on a binge, I need this to be sustainable and liveable for me.0
