Dinner at 3, anyone?

I'm always hungry in the afternoon. It seems like no snack even touches my hunger. Most days I cave and eat my dinner around 3. I don't really get hungry in the evening even until bed time, but this is totally socially unacceptable. I live by myself so it's not a problem now, but I'll be living with people come December. I'd really like to eat dinner at a regular hour (like 6). Any tips to keeping away the munchies in the afternoon?

What time do you eat breakfast and lunch? Could you eat lunch later?

I'd say try and eat breakfast and lunch later. I to am starving in the afternoon and like you said no snack will help. I have had too many afternoons with a cereal box. So I try and eat lunch later and keep myself busy in the afternoon when I get home from work. It's tough I know!

I could try pushing my lunch a little later. I eat breakfast at 7 and lunch at 11:30.

    Hi,

I get the same hunger at that time, what I have done is have a salad with my favorite dressing to dim the cravings until it is time for dinner. Have to love that 3 o'clock hour.

I'm the same lol. I eat breakfast at about 8 am lunch at 12 then I have a snack at 2 and that helps me put off dinner until about 5 or 6.

I am breastfeeding so I feel like I am starving all the time, it helps if I eat a snack inbetween each of my three main meals so realistically I am eating about 5-6 small meals a day and it helps keep me feeling full. I have found that it also keeps my calories down so I am not over eating at meal time. Hope this helps!
