Even though about getting back together still is sad.

    Journey

    Lying beside you
    Here in the dark
    Feeling your heart with mine
    Softly you whisper
    You're so sincere
How could our love be so blind
    We sailed on together
    We drifted apart
    And here you are
    By my side

So now I come to you
    With open arms
    Nothing to hide
    Believe what I say
    So here I am
    With open arms
    Hoping you'll see
What your love means to me
    Open arms

    Living without you
    Living alone
This empty house seems so cold
    Wanting to hold you
    Wanting you near
How much I wanted you home

But now that you've come back
    Turned night into day
    I need you to stay

So now I come to you
    With open arms
    Nothing to hide
    Believe what I say
    So here I am
    With open arms
    Hoping you'll see
What your love means to me
    Open arms

I agree. I used to be a good writer before I stopped and I would do poetry readings at this night club for young people I made so many people cry lol with the poetry readings. And then in 8th grade I did a poetry reading to the school and teachers were crying and parents were crying ahahaha i just made everyone cry =/ lol but i love that the emotion got to them.

Iris by the Goo goo dolls, makes me cry every time - it's not even particularly sad content wise, but there is so much emotion in there it gets to me!

I'm showing my age, but the saddest song for me is from 1989:

Where've You Been by Kathy Mattea

    I cry EVERY time.
