SINFULLY DELICIOUS CHILI

(This is my original recipe. I am currently working on a healthier version of this recipe with less milligrams of sodium and less grams of fat.)

2(28oz) cans crushed tomatoes
1(28oz) can chili beans
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 poblano pepper, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 of 7 oz can chipotles in adobo sauce, diced
or 2 jalapenos, diced (or both if you dare!)
1 sweet onion, diced
1 lb roll of zesty hot or original sausage, broken into bite-size pieces
4 lbs round steak, cubed into bite-size pieces
10 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
7 tablespoons liquid smoke
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoons ground coriander
1 tablespoon cumin
Cheddar cheese, to garnish, optional

In a large bowl, combine steak, sausage, green bell pepper, poblano pepper, onion, and garlic. Add Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Thoroughly mix everything together. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture overnight, if possible. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the meat-vegetable mixture in 4-6 batches for about 7-10 minutes each. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Transfer browned meat into the pot including all its juices. Add chili beans, crushed tomatoes, and chipotles in adobo sauce (including the sauce). Mix well. Add chili powder, coriander and cumin. Give your chili a final stir. Bring all ingredients to a boil and then simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Garnish with a little cheddar cheese if you would like. Enjoy!

Just to let you know, you can get no salt added crushed, whole or diced tomatoes.

It does look delicious! Though I can't take spice... I'd modify it for me. Thanks for sharing!

looks great! canned foods have more sodium, try blanching tomatoes, peeling off the skin and then and cooking them down in a crockpot. its amaze :) also, if you have time, soak your beans overnight and use fresh ones, that'll save u some more as well
