    I grew up in Duncan - lived in Clifton/ Morenci area until 2002 and then moved to Southern California. I hope to retire in AZ one day. I sure miss those monsoon rains!

    I miss them too... Where did our Monsoon season go????

    I was born in Mesa, but moved to North Cali at three days old (:
    Now I'm back here, and have found a nice place in Glendale, by GCC.

    EDIT : I do have six cousins and some other familuy in Suprise!
    Everytime I go to visit, I always show up randomly to yell "Surprise!" :laugh:

    Tucson born and raised. Left to NAU for college but ended back up in Tucson.

    We moved from MI to Goodyear, AZ in 2004. We're in Virginia now but still own our home in Goodyear. I loved it there and would gladly move back. VA is nice but I miss that dry, seep into your bones, heat.

    Grew up in Avondale (West Phoenix), did undergrad at NAU, and am now in grad school at U of A. Plus a summer in Show Low and one in Florence.

    The heat? I just always try to see things optimistically. I used to say "A lot of people pay a lot of money to go to a spa so they can sit in the sauna. All I have to do is walk outside."

    Whatever you do, do NOT walk outside barefoot in summer!

    Good advice! If the heat doesn't blister the soles of your feet, they are likely to find a thorn from a cactus or tree.
