    Subject: Important Information

    Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

    The Centers for Disease Control has issued a medical alert about a highly contagious, potentially dangerous virus that is transmitted orally, by hand, and even electronically. This virus is called Weekly Overload Recreational Killer (WORK). If you receive WORK from your boss, any of your colleagues or
    anyone else via any means whatsoever - DO NOT TOUCH IT!!! This virus will wipe out your private life entirely. If you should come into contact with WORK you should immediately leave the premises.

    Take two good friends to the nearest liquor store and purchase one or both of the antidotes - Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) and Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until
    WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

    You should immediately forward this medical alert to five friends. If you do not have five friends, you have already been infected and WORK is, sadly, controlling your life. Get help immediately.

    ok, obviously, I am like a manic, hyperactive puppy right now. First, let me say that last week when I had only lost 1.5 lbs, I was a little discouraged, because it was a really good week, and I couldn't figure out why. Hard to remember all the rules when you race out and hop on the scale, knowing that you have been good, and therefore you expect a reward. Of course, the rule I am refering to is the rule that your weight can fluctuate as many as 5 lbs one way or the other on any given day. So, I am pretty sure that my 7 lb. weight loss has more to do with pounds from last week swinging back into place.

    Or, it could be the chocolate milk.......... :wink: :laugh: :tongue:

    Lisa, I am so proud of your new attitude! Yay! One pound to overweight! I can't wait for that day. (Actually, I am pretty excited to move from morbid ot obese. Small pleasures, right?)

    Jamie, I just noticed that your starting weight is my goal weight. And you are 5'9" and I am 5'10.5" So, possibly, I will have to adjust my goal weight... :grumble: when I get a little closer. Oh well. Right now, thats not really a pressing worry. More importantly ... CONGRATS!!! You are on the move!

    Same for you chocolate milk girl! :wink: :smooched: Can I just say, thanks for having such a great attitude all the time!

    Prayerful mom - wahoo! Look at you! AND, thank you so much for your encouragement! I was pretty darned excited this morning too!

    Manda, soundds like you did a great job in the face of temptation and a disruption of your schedule. That always throws me way off. Yay!!

    Hey, I almost forgot - Erin, you seriously buff guy - what in the world are dragon flags? I am new to this exercise thing. (OBVIOUSLY!) So, I have exercises called things like wall away (Vertical push up) and ball squats (squats with a ball between me and the wall to act as a sort of ball-bearing). Thanks for the info in advance, and welcome to the group.

    Good morning all! And Lulu-- HELLOOOOO!!! :bigsmile:
    I didn't lose any weight this week, but I'm not that surprised or down about it, which surprises me! :laugh: I know that I haven't been as active as I need to be, so I can't be upset about it...only vow to do better next week.

    We had a brief lapse of rain yesterday, about 4 hours and was able to get our yard mowed...but it's raining again, and I think it stinks :sad: I'm tired of rain, makes me feel yucky and not want to be outside, not even to take my puppy out, which is a bad thing.

    Tony and I are going to Gatlinburg this weekend, so today will probably be the only day I can post. Not disappearing, just taking a little trip! I should be back on Tuesday.

    OH, and Kristi--I'm wicked proud of you for your 7 lbs! That's awesome!!!!

    Day 3, Week 4 completed of Couch2-5k and I think Im gonna repeat it next week. Its a good workout and Im not sure Im ready for week 5 yet. I burned 711 calories between my warmup, stretches and wog so I only had to do the elliptical for about 15 minutes after. My poor legs!!! They wanted to go on strike when I was done. Had fun getting down the stairs at the gym to go home. :laugh: No pain tho, just tired!

    Prayerful- Thanks for the stretches!! Tried them today and you were right, the one where you get down on your elbows with one knee crossed over is a great stretch!! Felt sooooooo good!

    Kristi- Im so happy that the milk is helping!!! :laugh: :drinker:

    Kids are going to thier dads for the weekend so tonight we are going out for dinner, then to the imax theater to see the new Star Trek Movie. Cant wait!!!!!!!! Yes, Im a bit of a Trekkie. Not as big of one as hubby, but I do love it. Anyway, not sure where we are going for dinner. I got a hankerin for fish, so I may just hit the grocery store and get some to cook at home. Cheaper and easier to count calories!

    Off to shower before the little rugrats get here. I have all 3 until about 5:30 tonight.

    She is down 1 full point from last Friday. Her starting BMI is the total she was when she started losing. Overall, shes down 5.6 with 1 of those being demolished this week.
