Find any good tasty and healthy foods in 2011?! Share what you found so we can all start the new year off right!
1. Artic Zero Ice Cream Replacement
So technically not ice cream. It's a whey protein ice cream replacement and does not have the same consistency of ice cream so don't expect that. But still so good. Lots of flavors but we love Touch of Maple and PB Chocolate. A whole PINT is 150 calories and packed with 14g of protein, 8g of fiber and is fat and gluten free! Indulge with peace of mind.
2. Turkey Perky Jerky
Turkey Perky Jerky. Fun to say, more fun to eat! It was never easier to eat and look like a trucker haha just kidding. You can pick this up at Target in a 2 oz pack or order it online. We really love this as a quick munch on the go. Get your protein in and keep it moving that is what we say!
3. Glenny's Soy Crisps
Glennys are awesome. They are crunchy crisps packed with protein (9g per serving) in a bunch of different flavors. BBQ is our favorite for sure. You can find them at organic markets and order them online.

You guys are making me jealous!!
None of those are available down here- I'm pretty sure. HOWEVER, I did just find a place to buy protein powder - and I found out that a scoop of vanilla mixed in with my (plain) yogurt is really yummy- and turns 7 grams of protein per serving into 29!! :laugh:0 -
My finds of the year have been real foods, rather than processed ones.
Quinoa - love making a pilaff out of this with some brown mushrooms.
Puy lentils - so great in a salad.
Flaxseed - I love this on naturla yoghurt for breakfast
Edamame beans - packed with protein.0 -
My finds and new favs of the year:
Quinoa
chobani yogurt-plain and most fruit flavors
brussel sprouts-roasted and also ones with bacon
goat cheese-I love it!
ambrosia apples--I'm picky and normally don't like apples-these are by far my favorite (sweet and crunchy)0
