    and i say this having plenty of tattoos myself and delibertly disobeying my mom on my 18th birthday and going to get one.. pretty sure i almost got kicked out for it too.. but she loves me too much.

    their roof girls body. Fair enough telling your older kids you don't want them smoking/taking drugs/doing things you disapprove of in the house, but there's nothing wrong with getting a tattoo when you're legally an adult.
    Most of my friends are 18-25 and most of them live with parents, and a lot of them have tattoos. I don't know anyone aged 18 who's got "into trouble" for getting a tattoo.
    My parents hate tattoos and don't encourage me to get them, my dad refused to look at my first one, but at the end of the day it was my body my money and I was an adult, so my decision.
