Way past time to get back into shape

Some friends of mine suggested coming to MFP to help me with my weight loss and work out goals. I've only been signed up for 5 days, and I feel like I'm already making an easy transition into healthier eating habits, and paying attention to how much I'm out of my chair and really working up a sweat daily. I was in a bad relationship for a long time, and after having my first child, I got really depressed because of my relationship and money worries, and packed on a lot of pounds. I realize now that I was doing a lot of emotional eating and I'm catching myself now when I go look int he fridge and cabinets for food when I'm not actually hungry. Well, I'm now married to a wonderful man, and 6 1/2 months ago had my second (and last) child. I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago for a cough that wouldn't go away, and realized that I'm heavier than I was the day I delivered the baby, and I'm done being this heavy. I have about 130 pounds or so to lose so that I'm at a healthy weight, and I'm determined to do it. Hubby says I'm fine the way I am, but I hate getting worn out trying to play with my boys.

That's awesome that you're taking the journey for YOU! Plus, your husband is awesome for loving you for who you are...once you start to lose the weight and he sees the benefits of your improved health, he will understand what your goal is and why. Great job and we're all here for extra support! Feel free to add me as a friend on your journey!
