First...as newbie...what does Bump mean??? Second...if we aren't on the spreadsheet does that just mean we asked to be included too late? I'd love to keep posting my progress here since it makes me even more accountable and that is what I need!! Thanks!

I am happy to see that everyone is losing weight and sticking with it. I just don't like putting a time frame on weight loss. I believe that the proper way to lose is to modify your behaviour towards food and lose weight in a slow and steady fashion. I have lost and gained back about 100 pounds over a 20 year period. I have always wanted to see the weight come off quickly and have never really modified my behaviour for good. This time I will change the way I see food and not deprive myself of any food that I really enjoy. If it means that I lose a pound a month, so be it. In 3 years I will have not only lost the weight I want to lose, but hopefully changed my eating habits for the better.

Hey :) A 'bump' is a simple reply used so you can easily access the thread under 'my topics' - it saves you having to write more than 1 word especially if you have nothing to say, but found the topic useful and want to access it again.

SW -275.8 lbs (Sunday Jan 1)
    Week 1 - 275.8 lbs (Sunday Jan 8 )
    Week 2 - 274.6 lbs (Sunday Jan 15) 1.2lb loss
Week 3 - xxx lbs (Sunday Jan 22)
Week 4 - xxx lbs (Sunday Jan 29)
Total lost - xx lbs (Thursday Feb 1)

A small loss on the scale - but more importantly is the number of days that I made it to the gym this week and the number of days that I exceeded my daily steps goal.
