Hiya, I have a 21 Month old and a 9 Month old. I'm finding it hard to find time to do any form of exercise and fit it around them. My youngest is in my bedroom, wakes up if I try to get out the bedroom or sneeze. So I can't fit it in before they wake up, 21 month old doesn't tend to nap anymore. I try to do Zumba or sports active for wii but they get in the way. I do walk to playgroups 2 - 3 times a week but need to do something in the house. My husband works 6pm - midnight, kids go to bed at 8pm but then after making bottles, tidying and making nappies up, I just wanna go to bed because I'm tired. I have an exercise bike that I try and go on but 21month old thinks it's a toy. Would love any tips :)

i workout with them sometimes. :-) also if your baby takes a nap maybe just do it with the 21 month old. my baby is the one that doesnt nap! you are lucky hehe
sometimes i just turn on music and we dance/run to it for 30 minutes or so.

Are you able to join a gym or the YMCA? They offer child care usually. If this isn't an option, maybe walk or jog with them in the stroller? It was hard when my daughter was small as well. You may need to get a friend or relative, etc. to watch for a period of time so you can exercise if it's important to you. It's also good for your sanity as a mother of 2 small ones

The good thing for you is nutrition plays a huge role in weight loss, but I understand wanting to exercise. How is the weather where you are at? Can you take a walk with them in the stroller? Or around an indoor mall? I would try and do a dvd while your youngest is taking a nap and maybe give your older child something new to play with? My oldest just turned 2yo, are you sure your oldest wouldn't take a nap? I know all kids are different, but thought I'd throw that question out there.
