Cold / Hot Shower after workout

Do you take a cold or hot shower after a workout? Does it matter if cardio or strength training?
I have heard if you take a cold shower you body will burn more calories as it has to exert energy to heat your core temperature. I have also heard rumors similar to drinking cold water versus room temperature.
Just curious, probably not a big deal just wondering.

I take a hot shower... If my body cools too quickly I get dizzy so cold showers don't really work for me0

I take cold showers.
Even if it does burn more calories, it is probably not significant enough to make a long term difference.0
