I know that eating should be in moderation but I love food. I only eat 1500 calories in meals but that doesn't include the fruits. I eat 5-7 normal sized fruits a day, is that bad if I want to lose weight?

fruits: banana, kiwi, apple, orange

Everything you eat has a calorie amount. You need to include all calories on your daily calorie intake. You will be suprised as to the calorie value that some fruits have.

track the fruits as well, a medium sized apple is around 80 calories so it could put you over and a calorie is a calorie regardless of where it comes from.. i love fruit as well and eat TONS especially in the summer

Fruit must be counted in your daily intake of calories. It can add up fast!!!!!

Yeah, must log fruit....calories are calories, even if they are healthy ones (coming from a fellow fruit addict).

Fruits are great! My Dietician suggested no more than 2-3 servings a day and I've stuck to that quite religiously. It's worked for me and I haven't felt deprived.

Along these same lines, what about the sugar in fruit? If MFP gives me say 33 for the day and the apple is 16 of that, it doesn't leave a whole lot for other fruit or even the sugar in most foods you consume throughout the day.
