Toning Stomach Area

I'm really struggling to tone my stomach area. I was just wondering if anyone has any good exercises or techniques for doing so. I'm happy to try ANYTHING! :smile:

    I've seen great before/after photos on here from people doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred DVD. I'm giving it a try!

    I'm currently doing Insanity & he does a ton of exercises for the obliques & abs without any sit-ups. One of my favorites is standing up straight, right arm over your head & as you pull your elbow down, you raise the right knee to touch the elbow. Do those for 30 seconds & then do the other side. There are lots like this, keeps them "fun"!

    Planks are great for core work too. You can hold the plank, then raise each knee up to your chest (out to the side)-those are killer!

    Above all else, abs are made in the kitchen! Eat clean, non processed food & drink a lot of water. :0)

    You can't spot reduce just one area of your body. You need to burn fat from all over. There are core exercises which will strengthen those muscles. But your stomach won't be flatter unless you burn the fat too.

    I'm getting results with 30 Day Shred and also 6 Week 6 Pack.
