Evening time seems to be the hardest time for me. I’m motivated throughout the day to eat right and go for walks during my breaks and lunch. By the time I get home….BAM the motivation is gone. The last two nights I have been significantly over my calorie intake. It’s not that I don’t have control it’s more of a convenience factor. I’m too exhausted to cook and workout. Not sure how to change this pattern of behavior.

SOunds like you need to make things just a bit easier, so there are less reasons not to. If you exercise at home, try having some exercise gear laid out ready to get changed into when you get in. Once you are in the gear it might not seem such an effort to get started. Or if you go to a gym/to the pool or whatever, then (if you can, I don't know what commitments you have) try going straight there instead of home first (pop your kit in a bag and take it out with you in the morning). Or can you do some exercise in the morning before you start your day?
  • I think evening time is a difficult time for a lot of people. If you're too tired to exercise at night, would it be possible for you to get up earlier in the morning and get your exercise in first thing in the day? That will totally help you feel great throughout the day! It would not only increase your energy for the day, but it would also give you the knowledge that you have already accomplished something so early. (plus you wouldn't have to worry about fitting that in at night then). In regards to the food at night...do you have a lot of junk food at home? What exactly have you been eating these last few night? I would suggest getting rid of everything that's not good for. Eating healthy doesn't have to take a lot of time. There are many quick yet healthy meals out there.

I had the same problem so now I skip breakfast saving those extra calories for the evening. Seems to work for me as I am still losing.
