Best at home/body weight workouts?

Hi guys!

I live on a game reserve in Africa, so there really is no gym nearby. Am just wondering what at home workouts you guys have found most effective?
Any input would be most appreciated :)

Are you asking what is best in terms of DVDs or simply "at home" circuits to keep you busy?

For DVDs anything Jillian Michaels is great. Insanity or P90x will keep you busy for awhile and transform your body. Otherwise you can try any of the 100 workout circuits.

There are quite a few variations of the 100 workout, Google it and take a look at the many variations of it.

Hi! I'm in Tanzania, actually, but not on a game reserve! I got a really excellent book on my Kindle - You Are Your Own Gym. It's all body weight exercises, and I can do them in my house, no equipment necessary. I totally recommend the book if you can get a copy. Not great for cardio, but really perfect for strength training. Or, you could just volunteer to hand wash all of your neighbors clothes... another great workout.

She's not popular on this forum, but i really like Ilaria Montagnani's Atletica dvd. It is a kettlebell type workout that uses dumbells. She also has a lot of kickboxing dvds that are highly rated .

Kelley Coffey-Meyer's 30 minutes to fitness series is also very good. I have Split Sessions (strength training) and Train like a contender (circuits and boxing).

You can look at reviews and clips, and search for workouts by fitness level and type, on collagevideo.com
