For members who are trying to go flour-free, try French Meadow Bakery Organic Sprouted Grain Tortillas. They're 150 Calories, but really filling and satisfying. I bake them whole, directly on the oven rack, at 350 degrees for 4 minutes, then flip over for another 2-3 minutes. I just break them after they come out of the oven, dunk them in my favorite Casas Chicas salsa...heaven!!!

I'm going to try the rosemary and other seasonings. Thanks for the idea!
  • yum! i make homemade corn tortillas every day, so im gunna def try this

Ooh, yum. I've done something like this on the George Foreman once, but the tortillas didn't get really crispy. They were delicious but a little chewy. I will definitely try it this way. Picante is my favorite!

Made these tonight, be aware you need to watch them there's a thin line between done and burned. Very yummy! Thank you for the recipe!

This is also Gluten Free, THANKS!!!! :)

Since going gluten free a few years ago, I make all sorts of things with these tortillas - even "pizzas" and wraps. The baked tortillas with seasonings sound great. I'll try that soon!

Since writing that post I have discovered that I can take the cookie sheet out a little early, set it on top of the stove and let them "coast" the rest of the way in. After several minutes they will go from stale tasting to crisp.

Then you don't have to watch them quite as closely.
