Fast food questions! advice!?

Okay so i eat healthy as much as i can even though its hard living at college, all the food here is crap! haha Anyways i mostly stick with yogurts, sandwiches, grilled chicken wraps maybe a salad and what not. Point of this post though is that when my bf comes up to visit me we go out to eat and grab some fast food usually. Ill usually not get anything or ill get a salad even though i hate salads! Basically what im saying is can i eat some fast food if it stays under my calorie count? I was just looking up chinese food dumplings and they are 80 calories a dumpling so if i get a serving of four thats only like 320 calories. So am i supposed to stay away from fast food period to lose weight? Or can i get some just as long as it stays within my calories? Thanksss!

I usually do just what you mentioned and research the place we are going before I get there. If you stay with in your goals and its not an every day occurance it will be fine.0

I don't know if my advice will assist you, but sometimes I will "investigate" what a particular fast food restaurants' options are. I generally plan ahead before I go out to eat...whether it's a restaurant or fast food joint. Generally, most fast food restaurants will have their menu and nutrition facts on their website or there are other websites that provide nutrition information for restaurants and fast food joints, as well.
For example, if I happen to want to eat at McDonald's, I will choose a sandwich that may be under 400 calories (ex. Premium Grilled Chicken Classic Sandwich - 350 calories, small fries - 230 and diet soda or unsweetened tea - 0 calories. Chick-fil-a has a great selection of lower calorie options, also.
If you have internet capabilities on your phone, try to find an app. or website that can assist you while your out with your bf.

That's exactly what I do too! It's important to know the best options at the places you regularly go- and PLAN AHEAD! You won't make mistakes when you know what you're going to do in advance!... plus you'll still have a nice time with your sweetie because you won't make yourself feel guilty for over-eating, or starving yourself! yeahi absolutely hate salads haha thats why dieting is so hard! i usually just get the fresh made salads from my school if i do! Thankss!0
