annoyed! "They" say u can burn anywhere from 800-1000 cal in a zumba class... Well, my hrm shows 344. Huh? Anyone else using hrm & feel they don't burn as many calories in zumba?

    LOL... don't listen to "them"!!! They also say you can burn up to 1000 calories doing Insanity. I burn 300-350. That's life. ;)

    hrm are just guidelines not ekg devices. mine varies too. as long as you get a good sweat you get a good workout.:happy

    I don't have an HRM, but I recently posted about Zumba and noone responded, so I though I would ask here . . . .

    Do you do a Zumba class? or the Zumba on wii? Or DVD's? I personally think I would like Zumba, but want to know if the Wii version is good or not. I don't have time to drive to a gym on a regular basis for class.
