Mothers Day ClassIc!

Who's running in it this weekend and in what state? What times are you hoping to achieve?

It's my first run like this and very much looking forward to it :) using it was prep for the HBF 14km on the 27th!

I'm in Perth... Not sure what time I want - Around the 50 min mark perhaps?? (my work counterpart in another state has set me a time of 46 and her 60 based on our age differences, nothing like a lil goal/competition).. Just want to go at a nice steady pace and enjoy the atmosphere :)

  • Hi, I'm doing the Mother's Day classic on Sunday in Perth too! I'm doing the 8km as a warm up for the HBF Run just like you!
I ran an 8km race a few weeks ago (the Gallipoli run in Kings Park), and from my time there, i'm aiming for a time of around 40 minutes. Good luck!!

I'm running my first 5K on Saturday! It's called "run for yo mama!" I dropped the "your" there because "yo" sounds so much better. This run you can dedicate to any mom so I'm running for my mom and my friend who is a new mommy to a beautiful baby girl and has been taking care of her on her own while her hubby is deployed. She's doing great so we're going to run it out!

Cannot wait to run to my little guy at the finish line! I don't care about my time...I'm all over the freaking place! Whoot Whoot! :drinker:
