Because the other day when I pounded Loki into the ground he survived so I must get stronger or Fury will cut me from team Avenger.

    Have a nice day, Hulk

Because Thor & Captain AMERICA work out and NO ONE's gonna say they don't look amazing

    This!

Did I mention sex was better
Did you see me stomp Loki's *kitten* in the concrete the other day?

Because it helps me combat the "blues".. working out is mentally rewarding just as much as it is physical. It helps me combat stress, and I feel good about myself when I work out!!! The added bonus is I get to look my best....

I love pushing myself past my limits physically!! I am woman hear me ROAR!!!! I am 39 and I run farther and faster now than I did at 29!!!

    Can't beat that!!!

I feel so much better about myself when I exercise!!
  • Quite simply, I'm sad about being the way I am. I hate being overweight and I hate feeling inadequate. Some days I just get the feeling that thinner people are better than me, and I want to feel like I'm good enough.

    because I can.

    I can workout and train.
    I can do triathlons.
I can eat healthier and live longer.
I can be a role model to my children.
I can look better (vanity works!).

and I really want to lose more weight. Yeah, I'm sorta healthy now, but it's a lot easier to run at 185 that at 195.

Its empowering to feel myself getting stronger and faster, and going longer distances.
Because I enjoy food and working out allows me to eat more of the foods I love.
    To look good. Naked.
    Being fit feels ahhhh-mazing!
So my husband won't be able to keep his hands off me

    I exercise because...

    - my hypothyroid makes it hard to lose weight without exercise
    - my daughter views me as someone who exercises and I never had that role model growing up
    - I can eat dessert on the nights I exercise (or more of it)
    - I can flex muscles that I never knew I could even have
    - I no longer need to make up excuses when the doctor asks me about exercise

I have neurological condition and been wheelchair since 2005. I've used Wii Fit for gentle physio for years and gradually built up to been able to do more active games with faster movements like boxing which then has helped me to lose weight.

It's also helped my co-ordination and balance, relieved back pain and I've had no progression for the last year and have in fact made improvement much to the amazement of my Neurologist!

Now I can stand and walk with crutches, only for few steps but makes transfers easier... my 'why' is that I can't take anything for granted and have to work hard to keep every bit of independence and movement!

    ^^^THAT is freakin awesome!! Congratz!!!
