Anyone here doing it? July 15th 2012.
I plan on doing the 1/2 marathon, but they also offer 5k and 10km.
If anyone is doing it, would be awesome if we could have a mfp team.

Im thinking about it. I started the B210K yesterday. Just wondering if i should do the 10km or just settle for the 5km?

well it's 9 weeks away.
it's totally possible to build up to 10km in that time frame, as b210k is only a 6 week program.
I'm going to do the half, and I plan on finishing it. I don't expect to run it all (at this stage), but I refuse to have a dnf against my name.0 -
yep - I'm doing the 1/2 !0

I still havent 100% decided whether i will be doing the 10k. I will see how the B210K goes.
Thanks xx0 -
I'm still debating on the 10k also. I won't quite be done B210K by then, but might give it a go anyhow.0

I might give the 5 a shot ....if my shins hold out through the training.0

for me, I might end up walking a bit, but I don't care, i want to finish it0 -
Can you just do a fast paced walk for it? If so I'd join but otherwise I can't run for the life of me at the moment!0

I'm doing the half marathon. My mission is to complete it. Will prob do 5:1 intervals. Going to aim for a 6.30pace. on the slower side for me, but this is my 1st so I know I'm going to learn loads.0 -

it's funny how you say the hills were challenging, i found them easy, do lots of hill work here, so they didn't bother me.
But good time, well done.0 -
Same .... where i train is incredibly hilly I found the Run Melbourne course to be virtually flat with a little downhill ....0
