Will doing Bodypump and NROL sabotage me??

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone on here is doing a combination of Les Mill's Bodypump and NROL?? I read the book and 3 weeks ago as I was getting ready to begin the NROL program I discovered Bodypump at the YMCA. It's a weight training class so I do this 2 times a week, NROL 2 times a week, and I also run about 3 miles 2 days a week. So, I guess my biggest question is: Do you think a combination of these workouts would sabotage my progress? I'm only 3 weeks in and I do see slight changes in my body, no weight loss yet though. For those who are not familiar with Bodypump: it targets every muscle group, high rep, it's definitely not heavy lifting like NROL, but heavy enough to create a struggle and you up your lifting weight every 2 weeks.
Thanks for any help.

I think it's fine. NROL tells you that you can alter your plan, but by doing so you risk altering your results. If I were you, I'd make sure you were giving your muscles enough rest (48 hours between lifting). Not sure you can do that with 4 weight lifting sessions a week, but a 4/3 split would work. Assuming you've got that rest between lifting days, I say do what you enjoy. Results will come, though maybe not as predicted if you did the NROL program to the letter.0

I wouldn't have thought so, but then the best idea would be to try it out and see. If you find your results with NROL are effected negatively then you have a choice to make, which is more important to your goals?
I do bodypump myself (although just once a week) and heavy lifting 4x a week. I find they compliment each other well, and I improve in both. Since body pump is more cardio and endurance strength, it differs a lot from heavy lifting with lower reps. There are some changes I had to make though. With my lifting at the gym, I do upper body on Mon and Thurs, Lower body on Tues and Fri, and bodypump on Wed.
I purposefully hold back on the leg work on tuesday, so I'm not too sore on wed (body pump has a lot of squats) and then I really hit my legs hard on friday as weekends are full rest days. Also, I find that I'm not as strong on thurs upper body because my shoulders sometimes ache a little from body pump. That's to be expected, but in the long run, I'm not losing any strength so it's all good0 -
Thanks. I'm going to keep trying this method for a few more weeks and see how it treats me. Inches I think will be the best measure for me. I am not big by any means, 5'2" 125 lbs just tying to lose the last few lbs or better yet, achieve that sculpted look. I see the muscles in my back and abdominals becoming more pronounced and I feel if I lose that last bit of fat covering them, I'll get the look I want. After trying the 1200 cal/day method, and cardio only method, I am hoping this is the best solution. Wish me luck.0
