Crunches and reverse crunches. Do as many as you can.0

I've read here that the only way to get abs is through diet....0

Unfortunately it is impossible to spot reduce.
A good balance of cardio, weights and healthy eating is what will get you there.
My stomach is my problem area too, and stomach fat is one of the hardest types to shift and the last bit to go when the weight does start dropping off!
I am just concentrating on the three things I mentioned above for all over health and fitness and I am FINALLY beginning to see that gut shrink and tone!
Good luck :-)0 -
You cannot spot reduce fat. Even doing a million ab exercises a day won't help as there will always be that layer of fat over the top of your ab muscles. You have to lose lots of body fat and where your body takes this fat from is random so you just have to stay with your weight loss diet and exercise until that area becomes "smaller".
Although if you are rich there is an exception to the rule here. You can always go and get sugery and get lipo suction and they can suck all that fat out of your stomach and spot reduce the fat right in that area. But if you don't know how to maintain your weight then the fat will be back...0 -

I am sorry but there is no excercise that can reduce fat from a specific area, the only way you can get a flat stomach is to get your bodyfat down. I am trying to do it via Intermittent Fasting as this is an excellent way to burn more bodyfat. You can google EatstopEast or check out leangains.com.
I have been doing it for two weeks now and lost nearly 3% bodyfat. Hoping to start seeing the weight come off as well =D0
