What time of day for your one meal?
Curiosity question. What time of day are you finding works best for your one meal per day? I work 3rd shift 10 hour days, so I usually wake up, get ready for work, come home, and go to bed. I am finding that eating when I get home and going to bed an hour later is hindering my weight loss. So I have been seriously…

OMAD Appetite Suppression
This is one thing that amazes me about OMAD/Fasting. I went for such a long time trying to get an appetite suppressant tablet. I tried literally everything. Black coffee, loads of water, genuine tablets I bought in health stores etc. Nothing worked. Today I woke up, had no breakfast and went to work. In work we get a free…

Question on timing
I've tried omad before & ran into the issue of having low blood sugar issues. I work 18-24 hr shifts with clients & if I eat my meal too early I can get light-headed & faint later in the day....if I eat later, I can get the same way before eating. One time I ended up laying down with my clients tending to me! I really want…

Some Advantages of One-Meal-a-Day
The choice to drop the pounds is never an isolated one. It always ends up spilling over into other aspects of our lives, which is why I've compiled this list... #1) OMAD is wallet-friendly: Once one finds themselves faced with the need to make the big change, it follows that safeguards should be in place lest they ever…

Ketones and Bladder Infections
I once tried Southbeach diet and my ketones got really high and I got a bladder infection that was so painful I thought it was appendicitis so I went to the emergency room to find out it was actually a bladder infection. A really bad one. Then, while on OMAD this last time, same thing. Ketones got really high and I thought…

Bobo is Back- Seriously!
I'm back, with an additional 20lbs more on me. I now weigh 250lbs and I'm disgusted with myself. Life got in the way, moving across the country, giving up my dreamJob, leaving my family etc. However, I'm done with feeling down and sad, and eating my sorrows away. I tried 2 new jeans I bought a couple of months ago, and I…

Why is it so easy to fail?!
I want to do OMAD. I'm about 5'3" and I'm over 200lbs and I really don't like myself right now. OMAD makes sense. It doesn't require special foods or anything. It's so easy! Just eat one meal a day! What could possibly go wrong? In my life, it seems like once I decided to start OMAD, eeeeeverything started revolving around…

Warning: topic about, ahem, bodily "digestion" (the exit side of things)
Hey y'all, Got a bit of a gross question (well I don't think it's gross per say, it's normal, but some people don't like to talk about it). Been on OMAD for 5 days, and waiting on the final process of digestion, the exit of the food  . Hasn't happened since Sunday, it's now Friday. I don't feel uncomfortable, I just…

My OMAD journey to 146lbs.
Hiya all, today is day one of my Omad journey. OMAD is the only diet that works for me because I don't feel deprived of anything and I feel full when I eat. I've lost weight before only to put it back on and some more! But enough is enough and it's time to take control and feel comfortable in my own skin. This is my OMAD…

No! with excuses leads to potential failure~NO! with commitment leads to success, period.
In this OMAD life, this little word can make the difference between success and failure, the difference between consistency and stumbling, what's that word....NO! ******************************************** Commitment “Most people fail, not because of lack of desire, but, because of lack of commitment.” ~Vince Lombardi…

What changes have/are you experiencing living this OMAD life? Please share, okay?!?
This is my 4th month consecutive/consistent working/doing/living on Omad and here are some of the life changes I'm experiencing: 1.) No more hideous/scary dark circles under my eyes...they're completely gone and this makes me look and feel AT LEAST 10 years (or more) younger and much more healthier. 2.) My body is…

Kicking butt&taking names thread->What are you scare of? Whatcha gonna do about"mess"in your life?
Ya know, I'm really growing tired of "fear" and "mess" ruling and reigning and controlling the lives of so many of us, so many people, all day, all night, all the time. We all have issues of one sort or another, but this fear, it's so diabolical and is such a cowardly and lying "spirit", kinda like the Wizard behind the…

To "Try" is to Lie"...ya gotta DO IT=OMAD lifestyle
When I was growing up (MANY years ago), I would get frustrated at "trying to accomplish something, that was in my mind and in my seeming "reality" appeared impossibly too hard for me. I'd say to my parents, "they say, if at first you don't succeed, "try-try" again, but I keep trying and I just can't. My parents used to…

new to group
well this is kind of an intro and my concerns so I didn't wanna necessarily put this in the "new members" section. anyway, my name is Kristen. ive been doing omad on and off for several years with temporary success. the reason I say its temporary, is because despite the popular belief that the first week is the hardest and…
