So we really can still lose weight, right?
I'm new to this group. I'm 62 and need to lose 50 lbs. I refuse to think that is not possible because I am over 60 years old. I'm so active and busy all the time. I work full time, and I "feel" young. Isn't 60 the new 50? or 40?

New to group but in the “over” category!
Hello! My name is Kerry. I’m probably older than most of you, but who’s counting? I hope to learn and share health and fitness strategies here.

62 and trying again!
Hello, I am looking for a support group to help push me to change my diet and keep upbeat instead of discouraged. I used to be fairly good at motivation when I first joined MFP in 2017.

Working out again
Hello, everyone! I headed back to the gym a few weeks ago, and am loving it. Because I had injured my knee in July, I'm only working out on the low-end stationary bike, three days a week. My knee feels great and I've lost about five pounds. Carol

Not Eating Enough?
Good morning! Last night as I was closing out my food diary for the day, I got a warning that I had not consumed enough calories for the day. I hadn't tried to undercut my daily calorie allowance and didnt feel hungry or deprived, but I do understand the health risks and consequences. I wonder if anyone else has…

Weigh ins
Weighing in tomorrow and very nervous. I have been sick for a week now and have misused carbs as comfort foods. Fact is in the mirror I see weight gain although I have tried to stay close to food calotie allowance. Good new habits are lost easily and crackers veggie chips ginger drops have carved steady placement. Time to…

Gratitude and Chatting, Jan. 2019
Happy New Year everyone. I am grateful that I am sitting within my goal range again this new year. I seem to have found my way of eating that works for me. Usually I have started to regain already, and am fighting to get back to goal. Such a relief to not have to do that anymore. I hope all of you have had a successful…

I have returned!
My sudden reappearance on MFP might raise some eyebrows and wonder. Here is a letter I wrote to family and friends last December/January. It should explain how I dropped out. I wasn't getting anything from it. My post-op PS is that basically I am back!! I am virtually pain free. I can move better which means doing more…
