I have the same problem with hunger. I've gone from 2 miles to 3, and on those days I find myself looking for "something". More water helps on some days, but certainly not always. It is funny how one mile makes such a difference.

I'm at 53.5/50 for the month. Yay! I passed my goal. I purchased the Just Walk Walk off Fat dvd and I'm enjoying it.

It has been a beautiful week in my neck of the woods. Not the norm for central Wyoming so we take advantage of it while we can. I got in 9 Leslie miles I like the 3 mile Heart Association Walk on Youtube, thanks PinkyPan1 for sharing that. 5 miles outside with the beloved old dog and 2 Firm 30 sessions. 38/50

I'm at 26/50 for the month. I'm really liking adding the Firm 30 from the Walk it Off in 30 Days dvd, it adds a bit of a change up for me and that it a good thing. Feeling great and walking happy.

Hello walkers, I'm at 20/50 for the month with 3 Firm 30 sessions. I am amazed at how much better I feel about life and how well I am sleeping.

I used to love my Billy Blanks dvds, lent them out never to be seen again :) I log any exercise, no matter who it's with or outdoors. You are doing great to be halfway to your goal already.

I am shooting for 50 miles this month. Most will probably be with Leslie unless Spring comes early.

42 miles for the month. Woohoo! My goal was 40. I really enjoyed the Walk it Off in 30 Days dvd with the firming sessions. I also like the 4 Really Big Miles. I actually did 3 of them on Friday. One of my goals for March will be to do all 4. Happy Walking everyone. You all are a super encouragement for me.

This week I've done 2 of the Walk it Off in 30 Days Burn 30 walks and 2 miles with the good old Walk Away the Pounds. I'm at 37/40. I am excited about making my goal. One 3 mile walk and I'm there. :D

Yay! I have enjoyed the tales from the trail. I'm at 31/40 for the month, back on track. With 6 1/2 of the Firm 30 sessions done as well. Happy Walking everyone.

So far this week 4 miles Burn 30 Walk it Off in 30 Days dvd 2 miles (old from vhs) Walk Away the Pounds~I still love this one. 2 Firm 30 sessions, my thighs are doing much better now zichab :D 24/40 Walking my way to back in control <3

Being out of town for a few days put me a little behind my goal, but I'll make it work. So far this month 18/40 and 3 Firm 30 sessions. You all are a wonderful source of inspiration.

Welcome carrie1829 15 minutes is a great start. Look for a dvd/program that is geared for a beginner. I like the Walk at Home 5 Day Slim Down dvd because it's 5 different walks, supposed to be one for each morning of the workweek. The first 4 are 14 minute miles and the 5th is a 12 minute mile.

Thank you for the encouragement. zichab, I will think of my thighs as cheering me on because they are getting thinner :p I'm at 11/40 for the week with 2 session of Firm 30. It was even nice enough to walk the dog this week!

Started off February walking a Power Mile at our local senior center. Then 1 mile WAP at home. For the rest of the month I'll really going to try and stick with the Walk it off in 30 days dvd. It is a bit harder for me and I need the challenge.

I WILL walk 40 miles in February. I started using the Walk it off in 30 days dvd. The firming workout is kicking this chubby body. I'm shooting for more of the walking and working up to the firming. I love that lidenalex is neighborhood hiking the AT. I'm cheering you on too!

Walking away those pounds :) I got the Just Walk walk it off in 30 days in the mail yesterday. 30 min. today. 11-11 2 miles with Walk Slim 4 Really Fast Miles. ( I like using the band thing) 11-10 2 miles WAP 17/50 so far.

Having a hard time getting motivated watching it snow, but I will get my walk in. 5 miles so far with WAP (old school vhs) 1,2 & 3 Mile. 3 more miles over the weekend outside with the dog. :D 11/50 Thank you texasgardnr for your kind words. It is inspiring just reading everyone's posts.

Hello everyone. My goal is 50 miles for November. 2 miles with Leslie's 5 Day Slim Down dvd 1 mile outside with my dog. Gotta get those in before the snow arrives. Happy Walking!

You folks are great. Thank you for the warm welcome and encouraging words. Our local Senior/Community Center does a Power Mile 4 days a week. It is fun to do these videos with a group. I'm at 9/20 miles so far.

I'm new to the group, so I'm late to the party. I plan on walking 20 miles by the end of October I'm looking forward to the November challenge. 2 down so far.
