  • Hi everyone! I'm Laura. I've been having trouble finding my motivation lately and I'm hoping this challenge will help keep me on track. One question - where do we actually post the exercise time? Memere101 - do we message you? or is there somewhere we're supposed to post it? Thanks!

  • I'm on team 9 too! There is a Memere101 (no space) so I'm going to send her a msg, hopefully that's our leader!
  • Hope everyone's having a great start! I'm excited for this challenge! Yesterday was my son's birthday so I went a little over my calorie goal (not going to skip birthday cake!) But it definitely could have been a lot worse. I'm on track today though so all good!
  • What a great idea, I'd love to join!
  • Hi everyone! I'm Laura. This will be my first mfp challenge! I'm 31yo, 5'4" 150lbs. My goal is to lose 15 lbs in the 10 weeks (maybe 20 if I'm lucky!)
  • I really want to learn how to sew but I don't want to put in the effort of making clothes that won't fit in a couple months!
  • Dinner. Or if I've had dinner then wine. Or brownies. Or both.....
  • You don't need to eat separate meals, you just need to eat less of the meals you're having. If you're starving and bingeing you probably have your calories set too low. What was the goal set at?

  • Make sure you're drinking lots of water it will help both water retention and the bm issue. Jogging also helps "move things along" so to speak. :)
  • My go-tos are pickles, carrot sticks, tea, chicken broth & popcorn. But sometimes hunger just comes with the territory. You shouldn't feel starving but being hungry every once in a while really isn't a big deal.
  • This is so me! If I don't have an evening snack I am STARVING in the morning and I feel like I spend the day trying to catch up with the hunger. Those are days I usually end up with like 200 calories left by dinner time. But with an evening snack I wake up barely hungry and a small breakfast keeps me going until lunch.…
  • I'm a runner and it took about 5 years before I actually ENJOYED running (and other exercise) When I started (10+ years ago) I just tolerated exercise because I wanted to lose weight. I could only run a half lap on the track and would literally count down the seconds on the elliptical! Now I honestly enjoy the feeling of…
  • I have a 6 & 3 yo. Making healthy kid friendly meals isn't as hard as it may seem at first. Tacos- use whole wheat tortillas, let the kids choose what goes on theirs. Usually mine do meat, cheese & taco sauce but they like avocado (when available) and have just recently refried beans (because it smelled so good!). Add lots…
