Hey, I've lost 72lbs in the past 7 months. Whatever I'm doing is working...my belief in starvation mode or not :)

I havent done too much research on what "they" say about starvation mode. But FOR ME, I notice that if I dont eat enough, I dont lose. I dont GAIN, but I dont lose. That for ME though. And by "not enough" I mean going pretty far below my calorie goal.

What kind of program do you follow? What is your routine? I've lost nearly 70lbs with cardio and SOME free weights. Now I'm wanting to incorporate more weights but don't really know where to begin!

Ben, dont sweat the haters. You've done amazing and I'm glad you shared your success! I've lost 68 in the past 7 months and I'm being told I'm losing it too fast to be healthy, blah blah. You have to do what works for you!! Bravo, sir!

I started in January, wearing an 18/20 and I'm just getting into 12's. I'm 68lbs down! (253-185) I logged everything, gave up soda, I drink tons of water, and workout 30min/5 days per week.

I started at 253, and at first i was losing very fast. It has gotten slower. My calorie goal is 1600 (just recently since I've gotten into the 180s). Aggressive maybe? But I haven't been doing anything excessive. I'm not starving or working out for hours daily. It's working for me. Wether or not starvation mode is a myth…

I weigh every day. Its a little daunting and I think I'm slave to the scale lol I record it everyday in MFP and I like to see the trend. 62.5lbs in 181 days! Woot!
