I don't know about using any hotel borrowed clothes, but heck if I haven't left a trail of used underpants all through Europe to make room for souvenirs in my bag for the trip back home.

I should point out that strengthlevel.com is a sampling of its users, not the entire gym population et al. (You are just measured against the users of the website in other words.) My all time deadlift hardly ranks as elite among other 93s. I know many athletes who pull 600 lbs for reps at 205 or less. I can't even pull 600…

Its “gutchecktime”

Thanks for bringing it back! I always enjoy these lifting oriented threads more. Congrats on the numbers! Its been two years since I last checked. Wonder where there at now?

I have and 8-20 range. An 820 credit rating.

After reading this, I had a shower... exactly 2.0467 hours after my workout.

Currently for powerlifting, I have:* Nike Romaelos III for squats. * Nike Metcons for bench. * Sabo Deadlift shoes for deadlifts. In my car I still have (for the rare Crossfit class):* Reebok Lifters 2.0 for squats/bench. * New Balance Minums (not toe shoes) for deadlifts. * Acsics for running — 3yrs old and practically…

A train leaves Boston at 1 pm. John is doing 3/3/1 tempo squats and was married on the 5th of July. Tomorrow, 6 apples will be delivered to my door, will this affect the rate of T Cell development or will the body of John Wilks Booth reanimate?

Who makes up this stuff? Like one day, a person decides, “Hmm... time to level-up the *kitten* a notch because there isn’t quite yet enough”
-
Yes. But only if you wait 5.7643 minutes. At 5.7644 minutes you lose the gains from that days workout. True story.

Arg, and I’m damn fool enough to want to attempt a retrofit which probably can’t be done.

This is great information. Thanks! I appreciate it!

I loved snowboarding, but when it got too fast I hated it. Explains why I sucked at it.

Q: What I do to get faster? A: Ride down hill.

Chances are the steps that are being counted are not accurate, thus your projected calorie burn is off anyway. I wouldn’t worry about it.
-
I don’t care about my cadence, rpm, heart rate, etc. I just want the additional metric of calories. I don’t care if the calorie burn is accurate (it won’t be). If I need to purchase an HRM, then that’s not the unit for me. I suppose Watts could work. I just need an affordable unit to get the job done.(Distance in meters.…

I’ll report back when I make the upgrade.

If you think exercise is without purpose and you hate it, just think how much you will hate being weaker, slower, and the subsequent diseases that come with the loss of muscle and the increase of fat as you age. You sound quite lethargic now with your stated feelings torward exercise, imagine how you will feel 5, 10, 20…

That’s badass and would be very easy to setup and I like the fact I can keep and see the data on my phone. Thank you for the recommendation!

I have one of the original seats I could sell you. It doesn’t have that problem.

Pretty snazzy! —————— X Does any one have a recommendation for replacing the computer? I plan on doing quick metcons with it, and would like to count calories instead of distance for the intensity. I don’t plan on long distance work with it.

This is what I suggest without having video to analyze your form, but I'd reckon that the way you bench you are putting a lot of internal rotation on you shoulders. As far as programming -- and without spending a huge amount of my unbillable time -- its still possible to make gains on 531, you just have to increase the…

How often do you bench per week?
