I admire your fortitude, because it physically pains me to eat a half of a cookie. I refuse to eat a Larry & Larry cookie in halves. It's just...unnatural.

I tend to stick to Old Fashioneds and Vodkas mixed with Skinny Syrups, which keeps calories below 80 or so. But then, I tend to get the munchies...

I'm right there with you about the slow creep in calories with each new flavor. For 160 cal/18 g protein, I'll have a much-cheaper Quest bar. Fifteen grams/protein for 110 calories? Can't beat those macros... I was just on the website--s'mores are sold out. :/

Oh, gods, those are trouble...

I do 16:8 IF daily with a OMAD on special occasions (e.g., holidays, breakfast with husband/friends). On OMAD days, I do admit macros generally go out the window, though I maintain caloric goals. It's working so far...

There was a Panera chocolate chip cookie in a pre-packaged lunch box. I ate it first (Amazing!) and then went to log. Holy *kitten*. They are 380 calories. Per cookie. I had water the rest of the day.

Gods, that's disappointing! I'm glad they're edible.

They just had a sale, too! I'll have to wait for the next one, unless this is a limited edition... ...damn it, it is...

To answer the question: yes, like any food, people can have allergies or intolerances to specific fruits. If cutting back temporarily doesn't help the swelling, best action would be to see a doctor.

I've been doing 16:8 with the MFP recommended caloric intake for a while. For me, it's just more satisfying to eat two bigger meals than three small ones. Good luck!

Oh, gods... I just looked it up, there's one near me... 😬

I have no idea what these are, but they're so cute!

You've got that right: it's a journey, not a race. Good luck!

Yes, though I am feeling a little salty that I have to pay for CBS Access to watch it. Does anyone know if CBS Access has commercials?

I miss my old New York Sports Club in CT with a passion. When I moved to PA, I tried several gyms, but they were skanky by comparison. (I'm talking peeling paint and mold.) I'm at a local PF now for convenience and because--say what you want about them--they do keep the place clean. If I was ever serious about…

Clearly, they're noobs. You post these offers all the time...

Aww... o:) You have a specific purpose and goals, though! It's a different situation. I hope you're recovering well.

I think it would depend on the congregation. At the church I currently play music, folks wears jeans to services, so they'd be fine with it. The church I grew up in, though, with the Tiffany-style stained glass windows and a lot of gilt? Probably not so much. (FWIW, those look very nice for a first attempt!)

And, it's a little kinder than "woo," I think...

The ability to breathe is a wonderful gift...

I started limiting sugar intake when I was diagnosed pre-diabetic. Over the years, I've tried to stay under 30 grams of sugar/day (all sugars) with reasonable success. I'm not sure if eliminating all sugar is even possible, unless someone was an exclusive meat eater, which doesn't sound healthy or fun.

Here's hoping...

If your looking for a local game, you could try meetup.com or r/lfg on Reddit. Just sayin'.

If anyone has an issue with white flour, I use whole wheat pastry flour for just about everything with no discernable difference. That being said, there are recipes that do better with alternative flours, and will say as much.

I, too, found that my maintenance calories are around what my weight loss calories were. I'm probably going to get "Disagrees" piled on me, but IF really has made a difference for me. Same calories, nothing magical: I eat from 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm. This ensures two good-sized meals instead of three tiny ones with a lot of…

I ordered some Built Bars and they sent samples of their new Boost drink powder. I've tried two flavors so far--not bad-tasting, though my daughter says it smells like nail polish. :# I'm not sure they're worth $1/packet, but they're not bad for free.

The underbelly of MFP: users having online affairs. This was something I was not prepared for when I first joined, and still amazes me...
